A detective hunts for a London-based serial killer who targets women in this gritty Hindi language thriller.

Amar Singh, investigates "Operation Mayfair"- a case of a mysterious serial killer in London. Detective Lisa and physiatrist Sonya assists Amar but with no clues or forensic evidences, the cat and mouse game continues.. MAIN Cast JIMMY SHEIRGILL- Amar Singh, London police detective. Sarah Jones (Stephanie Tripp), a high-class model in London, is found dead under mysterious circumstances. As the stakes are high, one of the investigating officers Commissioner Douglas (Bryan Lawrence) from the Metropolitan Police finds that the suspect has an eerie connection to a mysterious serial killer who has been missing for years. The victim had been whipped multiple times on her back and streams of tears were drawn on her face, before her neck was snapped, leading to her death. Then the killer cuts the index finger from the right hand of the victim. This was similar to the previous victims of the killer 3 years ago.

Following the discovery, the officer, DCI Lisa Verma (Vedieka Dutt) requests the police to re-employ Amar Singh (Jimmy Shergill), a former police detective himself. However, Amar refuses to handle the case (called Operation Mayfair), owing to the personal scars he has yet to recover from. Due to his failure to catch the killer, Amar gave up police work and became a professor of architecture at Oxford university. Amar is married to Tania (Antara Banerjee) and has daughter Alishka (Kalgi Hitesh Banda).

The killer is a man named Kevin DaCosta (Ankur Bhatia). Kevin firmly believes that one can never escape their past. Kevin is married to Melinda (Anjali Sharma) and has a son Benjamin (Adnan Kapadia). Amar thinks over the offer and decides to rejoin the London Metropolitan Police. Sonia Kapoor (Hritiqa Chheber) is the in-house criminal Profiler. Turns out Kevin is the lead forensic investigator on the same case.

All victims are between 25 and 30 years of age. Kevin says that the killer leaves no evidence. Sonia and Amar had an affair the previous instance they worked together. It was Sonia who recommended that Amar be discharged from the case, as he was getting paranoid and losing perspective. Amar finds that the killer is left-handed. He also believes that the killer is suffering from a psychological disorder, which irritates Kevin.

Kevin has flashbacks of a woman berating him and calling him a moron and pointing a finger at him. Kevin goes to a brothel, makes a prostitute enact the same flashback scene with him, and then proceeds to kill her in the exact same way as his earlier victims. This time Amar recovers an Alexa device from the victim's room and tries to see if there is any recording on the device. Lisa and Kevin see this as a waste of time. Amar is not happy that he has to report to Lisa who was once his junior in the department.

During his flashbacks, sometimes Kevin attacks his own wife Melinda, who gets scared of his behavior. Melinda calls Sonia, and seeks her advice, but says that she is one having the flashbacks and not Kevin.

Now Kevin knows that the pressure is increasing to find the killer. He accesses the criminal database and locates a profile that matches that of the killer. The man is Jared Morgan. Kevin kills Jared at his trailer in the woods (and makes it look like a suicide) and plants his DNA at one of victim's murder site. Kevin sends Jared's confession from his phone. Amar is not convinced and says that Jared was a drunk loser. And a man like Jared will always make mistakes. Jared had never sent an email for the last 5 years and the suicide note is too perfectly worded for a person of Jared's education. The killer is left-handed while Jared killed himself with his right hand.

Amar notes that Kevin is left-handed. Meanwhile, Sonia speaks to Kevin about stress at home. During the discussion she points fingers at Kevin, triggering his flashbacks. Sonia finds that Kevin had a stepmother who used to call him "moron". It is revealed that Kevin's stepfather used to get him to learn the piano and read him books. But his stepmother called him useless and was against spending all this money on a "moron". She used to whip him on his back. Sonia wants to restart things with Amar, but this time he pushes her back. Lisa sends the Alexa device for expert analysis, and they are able to recover a recording from the day of the murder. It is clear that the killer made the prostitute say certain phrases in a certain way before killing her. Amar drops in casual conversation to Kevin that he has the Alexa transcript.

Kevin hires a hit-man named Justin (Marty Mummery) to kill Amar. After that Kevin picks up a girl named Olivia (Sneha Singh) after saving her from some eve teasers. Olivia takes Kevin to a disco club, which triggers his flashbacks. Amar had taken Lisa to his home in Oxford for a meal with his family. The hit-man manages to corner Amar, but Lisa shoots him dead.

Amar is now convinced that the real killer is alive and wanted him dead, after Jared's death refused to derail the investigation. Amar goes to the library to investigate psycho unsolved murders from 10-15 years ago and makes notes. Meanwhile, Kevin decides to kill Olivia at her home, where she lives with her aunt (Kinhikar Ashwini Deole). Kevin enters the house when her aunt had just left, but she suddenly returned to pick her lunch box, just as Kevin was torturing Olivia. The aunt calls the police, forcing Kevin to kill Olivia and escape. This forces Kevin to change his clothes and return to the crime scene as he was still in the neighborhood.

Amar calls Kevin and asks him to reach Olivia's address to nab the killer. Amar then asks Lisa to get CCTV footage for all buses leaving the area around the time of the murder as buses have CCTV cameras. The investigation reveals that the killer was at the station, but his face was covered with a hood, and he never took the bus. Amar the checks the alleyways in the neighborhood and determines that the killer would have had to pass through a bar. The bartender says that on the night in question, there was a hens party going on, and thinks that the customer Zena (Anna Sofia) might have seen something. On Zena's phone Amar finds a picture of the killer, but the face is still hidden by the hoodie.

Lisa and Amar use the facial recognition software to try and find the killer with the limited image of the face they have. Amar was talking to Sonia, and mentions the Alexa transcript. Sonia says that Kevin has a trigger point with the word Moron. Amar and Sonia go to an orphanage and find that Kevin was brought there when he was 14, after his stepfather was killed. His stepmother used to call him a moron, and he stabbed a teacher, when she called him moron. He killed his step-mother, and when he got away with it, he started killing every woman who looked like her.

The forensic reports for a series of murders 10-15 years ago were also written by Kevin. As Lisa runs the facial recognition software, Kevin asks her to come with him for something related to the case. Kevin takes her to his house, where he had details of every woman he killed. The facial recognition software identifies a 100% match with Kevin. Amar tracks Kevin's location and reaches his house. Sonia finds Lisa, while Kevin escapes. Kevin surrenders to Amar at the train station. Kevin pleads insanity and is sent to a mental health facility for 7 years. Amar returns home to his family.
