Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • A child is implied to have stabbed their eye out. Some blood is seen splattered on a window, but the injury is never seen.
  • A scream is let out and a blood-like substance splatters onto a ceiling. This clip is then rewinded and played back and forth.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A child with no eyes and no mouth is suddenly seen. This comes after a substantial amount of time in the film with little warning, and is the only face directly shown in the entirely film.
  • An unseen monster takes away one child's mouth and makes another stab their eye before presumably killing them. All of this is offscreen, but the implication can be disturbing.
  • We see from the POV of a young girl as she walks into a dark bedroom with a flashlight, she focuses the light on the ceiling showing a baby doll stuck on the ceiling. There is a long moment of silence until she is suddenly startled and screams loudly when her brother walks in the room without her realizing.
  • A boy looks for his sister, and a demonic voice beckons him to come to the basement. When he walks down the stairs he can hear his sister's muffled voice implying she is stuck in the wall and 'feels weird'. After a long moment of quiet, suddenly a disturbing image of a girls face with no mouth jumps into frame with loud discordant sound effects. It's a very startling jump scare.
  • A woman is offscreen, but moaning (no sexual relation) and you can hear the sound of bones breaking and cracking. Right after, a figure makes an unhuman noise and has a part of its body show for less than a second, but it is still a jump scare and can be frightening to young children.
