Khan Review - Disappointed

Watched it only for mukta one of the finest actor but disappointed. The beginning was promising but after twenty thirty minutes you realise the movie is failing. Had to fast forward and finish it. Mukta as usual did well but there was not much scope for her otherwise I like the way she speak. Other actors were okay any ways did not expect much others. The blame goes too very poor script, direction. The story is very weak can't believe any one can go to such extent to save some money. I thought it will be comedy but it fails in that department too. Over all it is not worth a watch even if you need time pass.

Simple and sweet to watch

In a time of graphic murder mysteries, blood, fantasy and gore, this movie took me back to times when entertainment was easy to digest. If u like small, down to earth sweet stories, something in the Panchayat space, this movie is for you. I loved the music. If you are a parent or a pet owner, it will make you emotional. It's a different movie, in terms of theme. Of course, acting is very decent considering that it has some top class actors, and especially, I loved the guy who plays the servant, Damu, of the main character. Good watch. If u have a kid in the family, make them watch the movie. Good attempt.

Very nice one liner story but spoiled by overrated actors and directorial team Every character plays his or her role absolutely perfectly but overall knitting is very loose which makes movie very miserable.

Situations, scenes and locations are perfectly mismatched by everyone in the crew.

Shreyas Talpade is effortlessly worked very low to his own lower scale which has been supported by director and his team Lead young girl, Mukta Barve and Sandeep Pathak have tried to hold the acting department but they're helpless.

Music is fantabulous especially the song Ayushya Hey by Abhay Jodhpurkar. Guru Thakur has penned the song miraculous, beautiful melody after many days.

You can watch the movie with ease of 1.5 x or 2x speed which can save lot of time.

'Aapdi Thapdi' stands out as an example of what a heartwarming story paired with powerful performances can achieve.

While narration is often used as a crutch in many films, Daamu (Sandeep Pathak) introducing the characters sets the tone for a movie that plays out much like the tales of Malgudi Days. Sakharam Patil (Shreyas Talpade) has a hundred life hacks when it comes to saving money, as he lies, cons and straight up bulldozes his way through life. His wife (Mukta Barve) and daughter (Khushi Hajare) bear this behavior as he still is a loving husband and father.

Patil's comeuppance is when he loses something of great value to his daughter, as he pushes his luck one too many times. Now, he has to go against his lifelong instinct to win back the love of his family.

In a deviation from the loud, in-your-face slapstick comedies, this film presents a subtle, captivating story. Talpade gives a performance that can truly be counted as one of his career bests. Mukta Barve and Khushi Hajare are praiseworthy too, while Sandeep Pathak as the eternally loyal friend and Nandu Madhav as the TC with the heart of gold win your heart. Director Anand Karir's visual treatment brings each scene to life and ties you into the world of these lovable characters.

'Aapdi Thaapdi' feels like a warm hug. It is a simple story of simple people that ends up teaching the audience several small lessons.

An emotional and heartwarming film with laughter

The movie is an emotional and heartwarming film that delivers a powerful life lesson about the value of relationships while still providing plenty of laughter.

The film tells the story of a family of a miserly but wealthy man. The performances by Shreyas Talpade and Mukta Barwe are exceptional, and their chemistry on screen is a joy to watch. Sandeep Pathak and Khushi Hazare convince you to believe the situation and connect you with the characters in the movie. Watched it with family....and everyone loved it... the premise is simple yet creates enough drams to keep you engaged... Sakharam has got negative traits but you still end up rooting for him... and for his sidekick damu... both do a good job with their role.. Navin prabhakar is a surprise entry and does justice to the character of a likeable villain... Child artist is a revealation and could be one of the best child artist performances of the year... Shreyas looks in the 2nd half are good... and a welcome surprise from the emotional second half Mukta's role should have been longer//

I liked the depictions of the village scenery and the lively characters which paint a picturesque canvas, immersing the readers into the rustic charm of rural India. Its simple and funny in major parts. Reminds the stupidity of the simple characters back in the days of doordarshan.

However, the only minor flaw lies in the pacing, where certain parts of the story may seem slightly dragged, hindering the momentum of an otherwise engrossing watch. Nonetheless, the character development and heartwarming interactions between Patil and Damu effectively compensate for this drawback.

All in all, this is a good Sunday watch.

Paisa-wasool movie

AapdiThaapdi is really a superb movie in all aspects, i.e. Story, direction, script, acting, music, picturisation. Hatsoff to writer and Director. Movie's Plot has a strength to convey a helpful message to the society. In one word movie can be described as "paisa-wasool" type. Marathi film-imdustry is prospering gradually and these writer-directors have contributed for that, so millions thanks to them. This movie must be dubbed in all other regional and international languages and released. It will be superhit all around the world. Congratulations AapdiThaapdi team for movies's success. Total Timepass

This movie comes on Zee Yuva once in a while. Total timepass and nice music. I saw it only for my favourite actress Mukta Barva. Was sad to see that she was not much in the movie but whatever little she has done, it is a good job. The story is simple and sweet and not very predictable about the stupid things which characters do. But much better than seeing maar dhaad cinema which is giving hedache.

Shreyas is funny and character playing Damu is good actor. Even the girl who plays the daughter is nice. Best of all, i like the small goat Pinku who makes a special appearence but is qute. The TC is the same guy who played in Harishchandrachi Factory. Good cast, good performance. Simple story.

Must watch movie

This film is simply spectacular! The acting is superb by everone in the cast, the attention to detail here is just breathtaking. I was wondering during the film that how much time and effort were into making this movie.

Especially is the perfect actor to play this traditional father figure. I liked how this movie is not as modern as many films lately that throw garbage out there just because it is a trend! This movie brought so many beautiful memories so you cannot compare with other movies. The scenes are filled with many outdoor takes.

Although the AAPDI THAAPDI is outstanding nearly all-round.

Aapdi Thadi is a very simple film, filled with very real, very relatable characters and they do have a tale to tell.

Shreays Talpade is a loving father and husband, with just one flaw: He'd put Uncle Scrooge to shame with his miserly behaviour. He is put to the ultimate test when his penny pinching leads to confiscation of his daughter's pet goat by the railway authorities. A very simple plot that is brought to life in vivid detail in a small town in Maharashtra.

Every character in the movie has been etched out well, and all the actors have brought in something to the part. Damu, as the loving sidekick of the hero, does a fabulous job. As do most of the actors in the movie. The TC and his wife (a childless couple) who end up taking care of the goat take us through their own joys and sorrows.

Watch this film with your family. And most certainly take your family's Kanjoos Chacha along.

It's a treat to watch with your family, it shows how one common man and his family faces the obstacles coming in their life. Especially their adjustment because of their financial condition. Shreyansh Talpade had done a fabulous job in this movie, and how can I forget Little girl in that movie who is playing Shreyansh Talpade's daughter. Her Screen presence was too good. Other Characters of their village also did good job in movie. So You can watch this movie with your complete family. Last but Not Least this Movies Captain of the ship Anand Karir Succeed in their moto to Deliver the Story in every common man's Heart.

Once in a while comes a movie that's refreshing yet simple, funny yet emotional and it tugs to ones heart making the whole experience a treat. This is Aapdi Thapdi for you. It's a movie that brings together amazing performance, chuckle worthy dialogues and a screenplay that's as refreshing as the locales depicted. It seems like a movie made by a family for families.

The parent child relation is depicted with such relatable dialogues that it seems like a slice of life rather than a movie. The humour is clean and evens out the seriousness. Overall a great experience that makes you sit up and notice the beauty of simple rural life.

A complete family entertainer & value for your time & money. A must watch with your entire family. Story direction screenplay music is wonderful. The cast is well chosen & well deployed. Each actor has given their cent percent. Whether its mukta barve shreyas talpade the child actor naveen prabhakar & last but not the least sandeep pathak have given commendable performances. The plot is well written & leaves you guessing abt the climax. All in all it keeps the viewers glued to the screen from the start to finish. If you missed watching it in the theatres it is now available on OTT. Do watch it without fail.

Beauty is in Simplicity

A story with engaging screenplay and dialogues really holds you to the screen. Characters in the film are so funny and intresting that they make you laugh cry and feel pity for them. Family film comes once in a while and this is the film, do watch it with your family and have fun. Music of this film is soothing and it's treat to your ears. Wishing I could have more songs from the film and BGM is on spot. Imagine farmer listening to opera that's something unique and intresting to see in this film.

We should have more films like this. Light hearted and leaves you with a message which very well put under a tone.

Movie touches your heart, simple loving family entertainer that you can watch again n again. The cute little Message about loving animals is also brought up in such a lovely way that kids connect big time. It is a movie for all ages with characters so relatable. Acting has been top notch, screenplay and dialogues are perfect for the story set up. Director has been very wise to not go over the top with the emotions but has been sincere with the theme of the movie. The movie has a story of freindship, loyalty, love for one's family, the love for your pet, the struggle to match up to one's kids expectations.
