Actor Josh Thomson was called in for a radio interview on what it was like to be a Tongan badminton champion, despite the film being a mockumentary, and him never playing badminton before in his life.
Made as part of the New Zealand 48 Hour film competition. The film was conceptualized, written, shot, cut and handed in under 48 hours. It had to contain a mirror, the line "that's what I'm talking about" and a character, Robin Slade, an eternal optimist. The genre they drew was "true story".
