Sex & Nudity

  • Ai is pregnant in the first episode.
  • The main character's sister calls the main character a lolicon as a joke. This is because he said one 16 year old girl was pretty enough to be an idol.
  • Two characters are reborn as a famous idol's children.
  • Ep4, Ruby sees is sitting next to a student staring at her bust & stating that she has a huge one. She passes comments through the episode on this.
  • Ep5, a bird face dude (pieyon) is only wearing an underwear for half of the episode.
  • Ep11, Two characters kiss, lasts around 1-2 seconds (they are all black) at night.

Violence & Gore

  • It's very tame, where most of the violent scenes are only meant for comedy and are mostly bloodless.

Profanity

  • A baby says "bitch" in one scene
  • Occasional use of Sh*t
  • One use of "sl*t"

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • In the first episode we see some characters smoking but that's about it
  • The Character the director smokes in a few scences throughout.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Oshi no Ko at first seems like a light hearted anime, however as the episode goes on it gets progressively darker and more depressing.
  • A girl tries to commit suicide
  • Overall, this series is much darker than Kaguya-Sama: Love is War (which shares the same universe as Oshi no Ko) due to themes of exploitation and corruption among the entertainment industries, as well as a dose of psychological horror.

Sex & Nudity

  • About half the first episode, is about the Ai( A popular singer) giving birth and trying to hide it from the public.

Violence & Gore

  • In the first episode, a character at the end is stabbed. We see blood pool around her and blood on the floor and wall. Her chest is also covered in blood. Lasts for 3-5 minutes.
  • In the first episode, a character is pushed off a cliif there is a brief scene ( 10-30 seconds) were we see his dead body and a small amount of blood around him and some blood on the rock he is against
  • In the first episode, we see two instances of murder: one involving the death of Gorou Amamiya, and the other involving Ai Hoshino, an idol. This can be very disturbing and depressing for younger viewers.
  • Episode 6-Akane accidentally scratches Yuki's face with the nails that Yuki polished for her. This sends Akane down a spiral only for Yuki to forgive her later. Despite this, the episode containing the scene of the incident was edited to make Akane look bad, resulting in a wave of cyberbullying and school bullying that nearly drove Akane to commit suicide, only to be stopped at the last minute by Aqua. These instances can be very upsetting and disturbing for some viewers.
  • Episode 7-Yuki slaps Akane in the face after learning that the latter attempted suicide. Although Yuki did it because she felt distraught after Akane didn't tell her about the incidents, this can still be upsetting for some viewers who enjoyed the bond between the two characters.

Profanity

  • A character murders the MC and says many curse words such as b*tch and f**king.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A main character dies at the end of first episode. Very traumatic and depressing.
