"The Tip" is a really short American live action short film from 2010, so this one is almost 10 years old now and it was made by prolific music video director Johan Renck. It is a commercial for Armani that runs for 90 seconds and has a bellboy enter an apartment where Megan Fox is inside wearing only underwear. You know where this is heading. We see many shots of her wearing very little and making some poses too while the bellboy is busy with his work and occasionally tries to get a glimpse of the beautiful dark-haired actress. Admittedly, I must say that I always found Fox' looks overrated, but here she looks pretty attractive no denying. Still, she is not a good actress. I saw Renck made a more recent commercial with the Polish actress who became famous for going naked in this music video that was a big hit. Can't remember the name right now of the song, nothing of value lost, the actress' name os Ratajkowski or something like that, so it seems the Swedish filmmaker has a tendency to cast females for his commercials that do not possess the greatest acting talent. Then again, here she does not have to show it really. It lives more through style and the black-and-white element that I love just the way I always do. That is entirely subjective though. Still maybe that and also the fun part at the end that Fox putting clothes on instead of off which was enough of a tip for our guy here keep this film from becoming a complete failure. By the way, as for the male protagonist, this is most likely not the only time you have seen him in a commercial. It could very well be his most memorable project though, which does not say anything really positive about his career. It's a thumbs-down for me with no hesitation. Not recommended and skip it unless you really love For for whatever reason. Also how Armani stands out here or actually doesn't at all, is pretty embarrassing. It could have been for any other clothes/jeans manufacturer. No good.
