Everyone and anyone who follows cricket knows how the Indian test team performed and pulled the rug out of the Australians feet, after being one down and going on to win an unforgettable series.

There were a lot of things said before the test series started and the chatter increased after the first test. The hostility from the Australians was there for everyone to see.

The beauty of the docu-series is that it doesn't focus on that at all. It brings out the passion and the grit and the determination in which Indian team played and came out as winners.

The maker of the documentary have to be credited for staying away from the temptation of jingoism and keeping it realistic and true to the character of how our team played.

The manner in which the cricketer's hard work is shown is really thrilling. This documentary gave me goosebumps, despite the fact that I had not watched the game.

Finally, A Indian cricket documentary is here.

In Football, we have watched the miraculous comeback of Barcelona against PSG in 2017, and it was called 'La Remontada', one of the amazing moments in Football that still gives us goosebumps.

The valor and grit the Indian cricket team showed in Australia in that tough tour, deserved a fine documentary. That story needed to be told again.

Thanks to the team of Neeraj Pandey for telling the story of grit and perseverance.

I guarantee you that you will once again get goosebumps while watching this heroic effort. It was a well-made documentary, thoroughly enjoyable, and compellingly interesting.

We all need such stories, in which against all odds, when no one believes that you can fight back, against everything in the world, you stand up and say I will achieve the impossible. That's what this is all about, a story of one of the greatest comebacks in Indian cricket.

Reenacting India's most iconic cricket moment couldn't have been done better. A well-made video that brings you to Australia's next Test match against the United States in 2021 and the events and feelings that transpired during that match. In addition, the actors delivered fantastic performances.

I film makers had a phenomenal story in their hands. They could have made it more interesting. For example they could have make the narration of jimmy shergill intersting by adding some dialogues different from cricket. He was speaking like he was doing a commentary of a match.

Failed to capture the true tension

I wanted to grab some popcorn and relive the best test series i have ever witnessed. I was truly disappointed with the weak storytelling by the makers. They are like briefing through the but they failed to understand that every ardent cricket fan knows this and the ones who will be watching it want to relive the tension. Want to know the more what's happening between the balls. The session build up to ultimate tension of next day of a test.

I didn't like the narrator's tone. It was annoying for starters with the fake slow grounded noise.

And then magically never closed or continued to the end of the series.

They should have dubbed Aussies voice. It would have made more sense.

Sadly there were not much players. We would have wanted to know much from the voices of each and every Aussie players on how they actually felt. Comments from Langer would have summed it up The makers seemed on budget , hushed and didn't do due diligence in the art of story telling. They didn't do proper research i believe.

It was funny and humorous to see Ashwin's voiceover of the events. Loved it.

If i compare it to the TEST which was of the Aus vs Eng. (Watch it on prime)This is no where near it . Simply lazy stuff from the makers. The background score was all over the place. These guys totally did a joke. Trust me you can watch the whole thing on parts on YouTube by Australian Cricket board and come back and tell me which one was better. There was no build up to the start of test . Our tryst with securing a place in WTC. They kind of exploited on our cricket fans' emotions but never did justice.

For our Indian team : 10/10 For the makers : 0/10.

Bandon mein tha dum is a documentary sport show directed by neeraj pandey. These are the positives and negatives.

I don't have negatives for this show. Its a proper gooesbump show evoking every sense of emotion that we can go through. Being a cricket fan, this series does show the ebbs and flows behind that series. I can just recommend this series to you.

One urge to the cricket fans. No doubt this series was a great feat but do not forget our first win downunder as well. People tend to forget that series win. And at last, in ravi ashwin's words, I am the fan of the poster boy of world cricket, the king VIRAT KOHLI. And to fill the boots of such a cricketer is not easy. Ajinkya did a great job to lead the boys in his absence.

This series is a must watch. I rate it 10 out of 10.

Bando Mein Tha Dum takes you back to the glorious memories of India's greatest fightback in test cricket, led by Ajinkya Rahane, Rishabh Pant, Cheteshwar Pujara and other players of team India. That, by many opinions, is one of India's greatest test memories of all time. In the 2011 World Cup, we were a strong contender with all key players in the playing 11, but this 2020-2021 Border-Gavaskar series was tougher as we lost almost all the star players for different reasons. The weak-looking team thrashed the mighty Aussies at their home ground and that too after a horrible start in the first test. I still remember the hysteria on social media then, mostly because everyone was sitting at home due to lockdown. Now after 2 years Neeraj Pandey's retelling of that unforgettable event is here to leave you with goosebumps for sure.

The docu series is narrated by Ajinkya Rahane (Team India's captain for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Test matches), Rishabh Pant (Indian Wicketkeeper), Ravichandran Ashwin (Indian Spinner), Md. Siraj (Indian Pacer), Washington Sundar (Indian Spinner), Hanuma Vihari (Indian Batsman), Patt Cummings (Australia's pace bowler), and Tim Paine (Australia's test captain in the series), alongwith a sports journalist and a coach - with everyone sharing their thoughts on those moments. The docu series is divided into four episodes, and each episode tells the story of a single match.

The first episode shows you India's humiliating defeat at Adelaide when the team collapsed at 36 all out, leaving every cricket fan and expert in shock. Then people started writing off India and made fun of the players. Kohli went back to India and was criticised for it. Episode 1 ends with a hope, a hope that nobody knew would create history! After the nightmare of the Adelaide test, the 2nd episode unfolds India's comeback in the series as Ajinkya Rahane's boys smash Paine's gang at the MCG. The third test was drawn in Sydney, but Paine sowed the seeds of resentment by continuing to challenge Ashwin with "See you at the Gabba." And then the finale. The fourth episode follows the grand finale that has been imprinted on the hearts of crores of cricket fans in India. The famous Gabba test - and you end the series on a high and proud note with a few unknown details that weren't broadcast on TV.

Director Neeraj Pandey has been a cricket lover, and he showed it with MS Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016). This time, he had an even bigger story to tell because it wasn't about one man, but the entire team. The way he has told this story with interesting anecdotes is really something fascinating for Indian cricket team fans. He used the right players to narrate their experiences, including two opponents and two neutral sports geniuses, which makes Bando Mein Tha Dum an engaging affair. As a whole, this docu series throws light on a huge story that changed Team India's haters into fans, so whoever you are, you are bound to watch it. Don't miss!

In spite of a covid pandemic, India won the test match by a large majority. Despite knowing the conclusion, I felt apprehensive as I watched. Excellent direction in this flick.

Despite having a large number of covids, India won the test match because they had so many. Even though I knew what was going to happen, I was nervously watching. The way the film has been put together is fantastic.
