A man and a woman struggle over a photo album and graduation certificate and the woman falls to the floor, crying as other women help her; a woman argues with the man about the incident, they both shout and he hits her in the face with the side of his hand, knocking her down and we later see her lying in a bathtub with her face bloody and she groans, appearing to have been badly beaten.

A woman's mother comes to visit for a week and begins to argue with her daughter about her hair, makeup, clothing and career ambitions and slaps the daughter once in the face.

After an argument with his wife, a husband gets into his pickup truck and slams the door shut so hard that the glass shatters, but no one is hurt.
