Great Poster design, plotless movie

Kudos to the graphic artists that created the poster design for glamour girls.

Now to the movie... Glamour girls is meant to be a remake of the 1994 classic but it falls short in every ramification.

The acting is so over the top that they make William shatner look normal.

No character arc What seems to be a plotpoint fails woefully in hitting its mark

I have no idea what the film is trying to show or portray, maybe that Nigerians too have flashy things.

So, if yiou wanna watch because of the nostalgia of the 94 classic then go ahead, if not, its better to spend your time doing more productive things.like washing the beach or sweeping the forest.

Lots of Nigerian glitz and glamour, but hardly any story to follow.

Whose story is it really? Is it Emma, whose grit and sheer luck takes her from a small time sluttish existence to the top of the game where she's a well-placed executive escort? Or is it that of Donna, the well-connected and well-placed if ruthless madame who is surrounded by competitors intent on removing her from her perch where she caters to the needs of the high and mighty of Nigeria's underworld?

With neither rhyme nor reason, the story (or non-story) would manage to whet your appetite for a denouement which would at once piece all strands together into a coherent bunch and at once unravel nagging questions, but none of that is achieved at the end.

The climax belongs to another story which you think you've seen somewhere before.

Still a good watch when there's nothing much to do.

Bad storyline, rubbish cast except Sharon Ooja! Bad acting, forced comedy and unrealistic politicians.

Toke can not act to save her life, what was Etim's husband role in the movie? Why was the politician's wife stupid ? Sharon made you get 2/10!

You hear Glamour Girls and you think, Oh this is gonna be watch-worthy but NO.

1 for Sharon Ooja, 1 for Nse Ikpe Etim and that's the whole rating of the movie.

Please stay away from this mess of a movie if you value your time. There's absolutely no plot whatsoever!!

Story = -10/10 Cast delivery = 4/10, Overall = 1/10.

The question is why not do better given the resources at your disposal?!!! Come on!!

Nollywood for you and her

You have to like the movies - the genre I reckon. I guess it can be called that. Whatever it is you call it, you have to dig it. There is a lot of cliches flying around, there is romantic notes, there are some action elements to it, but there is also a really cool soundtrack. Something I personally really liked.

Not to be revered for any acting achievements or story innovations, this can be fun, if you suspend your disbelief. I try not to watch too many of those - but this felt a bit better than some of the others I have seen in the past. That being said, still not convinced to become a full fledged fan.

The movie was wacky ,poor story line. There was no chemistry between the actors . PLease this movie should not berecommended. Charles of play should stop remaking classics.

Actors who only now seem to be learning to speak, unnatural positions, in short the worst movie I've seen in 15 minutes! I lasted about 15 minutes. If it had a negative rating, that would be my opinion! Shame on you, Netflix!

They cannot found a worse cast

The plot was kinda atractive in a lot of ways, but why do all the actors are like amateur? Is really awful to watch a Netflix production with the worse cast ever existed.

The soundtrack is good, check it out in spotify.

Ignore the critics, this is a super fun movie. Great cast and interesting storyline. Sharon, Nse,Toke and Joycelyn all delivered in their roles. The male cast could have been better other than that this was a good movie to watch.

A refreshing take on a classic, less preachy more flashy

Loved it. The code switching moving seamlessly from English to pidgin was n point with a perfect cast. Though it is more light hearted than the original, it doesn't shy away from the looming darkness, danger and hunger for more that drives the sex industry.
