I felt exactly the same things watching this movie as two others I saw last year, and which looked very the same. I speak of course of STILL LIFE and CHRONIC, two terrific and also depressing, because so realistic, pictures about loneliness, disease and the end of life. Not so many films dare showing such things. Not for all audiences, I warn you. It is a sort of documentary, more than a true film like the two others which I just talked about.
Useless to specify that most, if every character here, is non professional. And I guess the director spent many months, and maybe years, to make this tremendous movie shot four years ago. Four years. Such a shame it did not receive any awards or recognition. It deserved it.
