The Sojourners

This film is so honest! It does a great job of showing what Medjugorje is about without "shoving it down your throat" or being completely bias to one side! The honesty and "realness" of the characters and their stories is truly moving. Even if you have never been to or heard about Medjugorje (even if you do not have a faith life) this film will keep you intrigued and will definitely spark your interests in wanting to learn more about Medjugorje and what is taking place there! I have been to Medjugorje before, and I can honestly say that Steve did an excellent job portraying the life of a pilgrim in Medj. Some people go into the trip without any expectations, some go into the trip expecting miracles, some go into the trip not know what to expect, but everyone comes out of it with a better understand of what Medjugorje is all about. This this film, people at home will be able to experience a little bit of Medj. without having to leave the country! I would recommend it to anyone!

This movie was funny and inspiring. It brings you to a place that most don't even know exists. However the film doesn't use paid actors or anything fancy... Only real people going through real experiences. It is great to be able to enjoy a film with such truth and honesty. Too often the typical movies in theaters throw tons of fake ideas and lifestyles that it gets annoying. There is such beautiful scenery and personalities in the Sojourners. This movie definitely made me want to go to Medjugorje and find out for myself what some of the people were talking about in the movie. I hope that more people can get to see this movie and see for themselves what real honesty can be.

The Sojourners is a wonderful film. It's an adventurous and moving story that will have you cheering. The filmmaker did a great job in balancing the spiritual part of the story without making this an over the top religious film. It's refreshing to see and hear the young people in this story express themselves in such and honest way. I don't think I've ever seen a film this honest. I also love the way the filmmaker interviewed everyone. It was very natural and completely unscripted. The cinematography was beautiful and captured the grandeur of the region. This Sojourners is a very entertaining film for the entire family. It will give you hope in our youth and in our future. Don't miss it when it comes to your town.
