Hands (#4.10)
ComedyFan201029 September 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Insane episode. So much happening.

The whole story of Tara's assault was done perfectly. At first we can feel their happiness and looking forward to leaving the club and then comes the abduction. And they don't just leave it at that, Tara also might never be able to use her hand which of course for a surgeon means a lot. It was also her way out of the town. The scene of her and Jax was great, pretty painful to watch.

Confrontation of Clay and Gemma also was insane. It seems that she now plans to have Opie kill him by letting him know that Clay was the one who killed Piney.

Roosevelt apologizing to Juice was also interesting. Is this his first step into cooperating with the Sons?

Warning: Spoilers
Maggie Siff was brilliant as Tara. I've found her acting mediocre and often annoying up until now. But the scene in the hospital with Jax was just heartbreaking yet you can feel Tara's strength and hopelessness while you're thinking "she's right". The scene with Opie and Jax, Ryan Hurst (Opie) was brilliant. His pain, frustration and hurt just comes through brilliantly. Ryan's portrayal of Opie has been perfect throughout the series. He's able to show so much emotion without saying much. Quiet and subtle.

Katy Sagal's portrayal of Gemma was perfect in this episode. She wasn't annoying like she's been for the whole series, here she was strong, vengeful, calm but not in a peaceful way, more cunning. We finally see her as the puppet master she is. She used Clay's love for her to have JT killed. Now she's using Usner's love for her to have Clay killed.

This episode had so many excellent moments.
