Enjoyed every minute!

Loved it!!! Enjoyed every minute!!! Very high energy. Great storyline!! Must see!! Dancing is fantastic as it is choreographed by Paula Abdul. Music is fantastic! Everything about this musical is appealing and to any age group. The older generation will learn so much from this as well as the younger generation. There is a message for everyone. The cast is very talented and play their parts beautifully. The visuals are fun to watch! The whole movie is fun to watch!!! I will definitely be seeing this movie again. It is an uplifting movie. These are the kind of movies I want to see over and over!!!

A painful exploration into directorial nepotism
Lallowlallow6 July 2023
1660 Vine is an atrocious mess that fails to understand any of the concepts that it tries to explain. In terms of the plot, it's obvious that the writer never has had to actually work for money, based on his lack of understanding of how sponsors work. This inexperience taints the entire movie and makes for a troubled watch. People don't act like this! No character behaves like a person should. It's also very obvious that the writer and director doesn't talk to women or people of color very often, nor does he understand how these intersecting identities can change how a person interacts with the world. Not only do the characters not make sense, the world around them doesn't either. For any younger person watching, the immersion will be broken completely when social media is brought up.. At all.. Which is a problem when your entire plot revolves around how social media can harm young people. To an older person, the cheap references will go over their heads. To the younger generation, they will feel condescended. No one wins here. The music is passable, but feels bland and soulless. This is clearly a college student film project who got some of daddy's money to make a laughable attempt at social commentary. We all start somewhere, but that doesn't mean everyone needs to see it.
