A good film in which Anders W. Berthelsen plays the role of his life

A good film in which Anders W. Berthelsen plays the role of his life. Flemming BAMSE Jørgensen is a musical legend in Denmark who is difficult to imitate. But Anders W. Berthelsen made us forget this and let us enjoy the well-known songs. The very premise of the film was a bit thin. But if you can't walk on water, you can do so many other fantastic things - and that's the case with this wonderful film.

Very touching

The movie is about a very loved Danish musician, and those can be difficult to portray, however, Anders W. Berthelsen did an amazing job here. Both his mannerism and his singing mimic Bamse very well. Most of the other acting performances were good as well, though a few fell flat and it seemed like they were just reading their lines.

The story itself is more about the struggles of Bamse, especially those surrounding being adopted and the relationship he had with his father. I expected to know more about his career, as the movies begins after he his already a popular singer, and this did disappoint me a bit. Sometimes the storyline appeared a little thin.

Overall, it is a sweet, heartfelt movie, and it had me getting emotional a couple of times in the theater.

Touching story about a normal man, who can sing

A beautiful picture of an adopted boy, who wasn't able to fulfill his new father's dream of him taking over the factory. Instead the boy followed his dream and passion for music. His choices and passion for music and the work/life balance with his wife and beloved children, wasn't always easy; but interesting to watch. The feelings are catching the audience with such a force that even grown men have a hard time trying not to cry. The acting is fantastic and probably the most genuine I've seen in a long time. The filming is amazing and catching the moments and feelings with an incredible angle and color tone. The soundtrack fulfilled the experience and brought the feelings alive and present.

An absolute Must Watch😍

The best danish movie ever made

Bamse was one of The biggest musicians to ever live in denmark, and the entire country mourned him when he passed, and Anders w. Berthelsens performance should earn him a academy award, this is his role of a lifetime, his portrayal of Flemming bamse Jørgensen is so unbelievably realistic , and the fact that he actually sings all of the songs himself is amazing, the entire cast was amazing, the set was uncanny, The time period was so good and accurate, the you almost didn't noticed it, the story is about Flemming bamse Jørgensens life and struggle as an adopted child and how it tormented him all his life.
