- TriviaThe John Milton quote that is shown at the beginning of the movie is from Milton's epic poem "Paradise Lost" Book 1, released in 1667.
- GoofsIn the news scene during the Chechnya war in the second half of the 1990s a flat screen is visible next to the newscaster. The first flat-screen was released in 1999 and was available to the public only later. They were very unlikely to be used in Russian news studios in the 1990s.
- Crazy creditsThe movie begins with the quotes "The mind is its own place and, in itself can make a heaven of hell or a hell of heaven" by John Milton and the anonymous Quote "However high a man ascends in his pursuit of power, the shadows of his past remain. They are the whispers of a conscience Shaping his Destiny."
Featured review
This is not a Russian Troll Bot, this is a human being that sat through this movie and has a review to share.
First the story, it is very weak, poorly written, opinionated and full of personal feelings.
You dont like this man and so you wrote and then directed a movie to vent your anger at him.
That is not what directors are supposed to do. Your feeling on a subject should not carry onto film. It is full of hate and anger that is not necessary.
The acting, poor at best.
You managed to get a few character look alikes and that is not a reason for a movie. It is about story and vision and this production lacks both.
Editing was ok, so was sound but that is it for the good points. The feature is full of hate and anger directed at a man whom our writer / director uses film to vent at.
That is not what movie making should be. It should be about a good story and good writing that then directed to a polished product.
A suggestion, if you write, do not direct. And if you direct, do not write.
Doing both created a poorly done product that achieves nothing more than stroking your ego.
This is why Hollywood is dying.
