Exclusive: Meghan, Duchess of Sussex is preparing to launch her latest podcast.

Meghan is launching Confessions of a Female Founder with Lemonada Media. It comes a year after she struck a deal with the company behind Wiser Than Me with Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

The series, which launches on April 8, will see her have candid conversations with female founders and friends who open up about the success, the struggles, and the never- before-told stories that took many of them from starting a company to selling it.

Per the logline, the series allows audiences to be a fly on the wall and hear the unfiltered stories behind the successes of notable female founders, while also sneaking a peek behind the curtain of Meghan’s own entrepreneurial journey launching As ever.

Meghan Markle has found a new podcast home!

The 42-year-old Duchess of Sussex and husband Prince Harry ended their deal with Spotify in June 2023, and now, she has signed a new deal with Lemonada Media, according to Deadline.

The podcast company is female-founded and is also home to Julia Louis-Dreyfus‘ Wiser Than Me podcast, Jennette McCurdy‘s Hard Feelings and Samantha Bee‘s Choice Words.

Meghan‘s move to Lemonada will also bring a new podcast show for her, however, no details or a title have been revealed at this time.

The Duchess, otherwise known as Meghan Markle, has signed a new podcast deal with Lemonada Media, the company behind Wiser Than Me with Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

The move will see her launch a new podcast series and Lemonada will also distribute her previous Spotify series Archetypes to all podcast platforms.

It comes after her and her husband Prince Harry parted ways with Spotify last year.

There are no details of the show yet, but Meghan will host the as yet untitled series.

Archetypes, which was previously a Spotify exclusive, will be rolled out to all audio platforms with Lemonada distributing. The series has recorded over 10M downloads, around a million listens per episode and debuted as Spotify’s No.1 podcast in 47 countries around the world when it launched in August 2022.

The series explored the labels that try to hold women back.

The No Hard Feelings creative team defends the film’s highly controversial premise. In No Hard Feelings, 32-year-old Maddie (Jennifer Lawrence) is hired by a middle-aged couple (played by Matthew Broderick and Laura Benati) to date their 19-year-old son (Andrew Barth Feldman). The couple’s goal is for their sheltered son to get more life experience. No Hard Feelings is directed by Good Boys director Gene Stupnitsky.

Now, the film's team is speaking up against critics who call No Hard Feeling's premise controversial. In conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, Benati described the film as a satirical “cautionary tale” that warns against helicopter parenting. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s “Fubar” scored big this week as it debuted in the No. 1 spot on Netflix’s English TV List with 88.94 million hours viewed.

The action comedy series, which marked Schwarzenegger’s first TV series, has received more than 12 million views and appeared in the Top 10 in 90 countries this week. The first installment of “To All The Boys” spinoff “Xo, Kitty” followed closely behind “Fubar” in second place with 63.78 million hours viewed while “Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story” took the third spot on the English TV list with 42.9 million hours, boosting the “Bridgerton” spinoff series to 66 million overall views since its debut as it climbed to the Top 10 in 91 countries. “Bridgerton” Season 2 also made an appearance on this week’s list, though it dropped down to the No. 10 spot with 12.54 million hours watched.

The Netflix movie and TV series that have been dominating the streamer’s weekly viewing chart were both still atop the Top 10 chart for the week of May 15. Read on for this week’s analysis.

Jennifer Lopez‘s action-thriller “The Mother” burst into the weekly streaming chart last week, and it topped the English films list for a second week with 94.4 million hours viewed globally. That means the movie has been viewed by almost 90 million accounts, i.e. 178.1 million hours viewed divided by the movie’s 1.96 hour runtime. It remained in the Top 10 in 93 countries with many of those regions, including the U.S. and Canada, the #1 viewed movie.

The documentary “Anna Nicole Smith: You Don’t Know Me” also entered the charts in second place with 15.7 million hours viewed, followed by a number of non-Netflix films like Seth McFarlane‘s hit comedy “Ted,” Tom Hanks‘ “A Man Called Otto,” and the sci-fi thriller “Synchronic.

Netflix recently announced it would be investing $2.5 billion into South Korean programming. Before Squid Game season 2 comes down the pike, however, the first seeds of that investment will bear fruit for Netflix in May 2023.

Netflix’s list of new releases for May 2023 is highlighted by the May 12 release of Korean series Black Knight. Set “in a dystopian 2071 devastated by air pollution,” this show will follow world-saving deliverymen known as “Black Knights.” Other international offerings this month include Japanese sumo drama Sanctuary on May 4 and Spanish crime thriller Muted on May 19.

Netflix’s domestic TV options this month include Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story on May 4. That will be followed by post-apocalyptic animated comedy Mulligan on May 12 and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s TV debut Fubar on May 25. And for those hoping for “triples,” I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson premieres on May 30.

On the movie side of things, Netflix has an unusually busy month.
