Hephzibah discovers Marguerite and Franny's secret, and goes straight to George wish the news, he has only one option, to throw Francis out into athe Street.
This third episode continues the trend, very good, very watchable. There's a deal of suspense and intrigue, the list of suspects grows, both Hep and Laddie appear to have strong motives.
We learn a fair bit, how and why Franny met Sal, and where her laudanum addiction came from.
I have two questions, how did Franny get back into the house, and was Hep a little bit in love with Meg?
Visually sumptuous once again, it's a stunning production, credit to the team involved.
Jodhi May was first class as Hepsebah, is good to see her posting something of a villainous role, very often the sympathetic figure, she's far from that here.
8/10.
