It makes for good background noise while I'm scrolling through my Instagram feed before bed, haha.

Will never be VPR. I wish these children luck, tarnishing your reputation for a show that won't even be renewed is pretty sad. You can't take back behaviors, words, scandals and stupidity once the film starts rolling.

Dude most of them live with their parents. Joe is not even hot. He's average but jocks himself so hard is makes his attractiveness even lower because of.

I agree with the prior posts of it seeming scripted. The birth control scene was so obviously not real.

This show is absolutely ridiculous and makes me thankful Im not longer in my 20s. I usually put it on and let it play on Peacock when I want background noise while Im cleaning up around the house or working on projects. The drama shows how vapid some 20 year olds are and I pray I wasnt like this in my 20s. No way I was. There is nothing that will make you feel better about being past your 20s then watch a show like this where being a club promoter is LIFE! Its also funny because they act like Charleston is hip like LA. Its not. Its not known for its clubs, its known for its history and Southern Charm (Hey shep!). Overall Im not hooked like I am on other reality tv shows, and Im shamelessly a fan of reality tv, but its okay enough for me to take a break from house chores and listen to what the youngin's are crying about and who is prettier then who. Sigh.

I'm a fifth-generation Charlestonian who has worked in the city's hospitality and food & beverage industry, and this show is not an accurate representation of either.

Almost none of the people on the show are actually from Charleston. The majority of people visiting and working at this bar are from the College of Charleston, and the vast majority of the young adults on campus are not the vapid trash depicted here.

This is NOT reality. From the birth control alarm clock going off in the middle of lineup to Leva, who I don't think anything gets past, "forgetting" how old she was turning, everything here is scripted and staged.

I hope to God this show doesn't get a second season because the last thing these narcissists need is more screen time.

A want to be Vanderpump ugh

Not one person is interesting. Appears like rehearsed bad acting. Why does no one have an authentic southern accent? I have been a fan of reality shows since 2009 and, well, this is uninteresting to say the least. The very beginning should have been an indication of how the show went with the rude employee whose name is escapable that had her alarm go off for her birth control!! Then yells across to the bartender to get it for her?? She just had no respect for the manager that was speaking to them. This bar could literally be put in any city in any state it's so basic. Phony, rehearsed, boring.

This is just pure garbage. Is bravo running out of ideas? I'm not a huge Bravo person but I do like VPR, Summer House and Southern Charm. This show is beyond awful and I truly felt like I lost brain cells watching these awful people.

I tried to watch the first couple of episodes but I can't even finish the second one. These people are like the wish version of VPR. Not cute, no style, boring, dramatic (not in a good way) and dumb as a box of rocks. Please cancel and put VPR back on.

I don't even really write reviews but I haven't watched something this bad in awhile... my time is precious and this was a waste of two hours of my life I can't get back.

Pump rules copycat

This is just a trashier version of Vanderpump Rules. It's like Bravo ordered the Wish version of VPR, and Leva ain't no LVP. She may think she is the up and coming younger version, however she is not. I think Bravo is just running out of ideas for shows and Leva had some connections or bought her way to the top. I'm sure the only reason why Republic is popular is because the cast of Southern Charm made it popular. LOL. I also read somewhere that employees here hate Leva, and always end up leaving. You can tell how good a company is by how happy their employees are. Hopefully this show does not get a second season because it is that bad.

It's fresh, young and fun. It's everything Vanderpump Rules isn't and never was. I'm a native Californian so I love that it's not L. A. There IS life outside of Hollywood and it's great to see it showcased beyond old, bickering "housewives". At least this bickering is age appropriate LOL. I like Leva's no nonsense attitude and eye for talent. I don't see why anyone would like Vanderpumo Rules and not like this. It's better. It's new people. New location. A smarter crowd. The best part about it is that there's NO Scheana Shay, NO Tom's and NO Arianna or Charlie. Basically, the only annoying part was when homeboy confused Napoleon Dynamite with Napoleon Bonaparte. Smh.

Souther Trash

I can't believe shows like these keep popping here in BRAVO.

Where in the world the continuous trashy behavior of reality Tv lost it common senses.

The poor cast, who brag about self worth, but tweaking, isn't going to fix it. Or is Bravo lack of creativity and ideas getting to an end of a cable television network?

Charleston Tourism Council should be outraged to brag about these shows, what a great way to promote a city! Off course I'm sarcastic.

Even my millennials and adult teen kids said it is a waste of show, no funny or entertaining. So, when do you guys would run again a market research? Because you are losing audiences.

I think the people who do not like Southern Hospitality are a little too old for this type of show. If you like bravo shows then you have no right calling this show "trashy" because every single bravo show is debatably trashy or at least have trashy people like convict housewives? Please. The show is really good, all the cast members have big personalities and a lot of drama which lets be honest drama is why we watch bravo shows. Everyone compares it to vanderpump rules and complains that it will never be the same but do we not remember how "trashy" the vanderpump crew was? Why are we acting like they are some crazy celeberaties?

I watched one episode and it made me sad. I grew up in Charleston but moved away in 2006. I considered moving back, but after visiting year after year and witnessing its decline, I don't ever want to move back. This is an example of why Charleston has lost its class and charm. No thanks. Makes me want to never go to the city again. I miss Charleston as a culinary destination, but it seems to becoming a seedy kind of place. And Leva is just a gross person, it seems, and an example of the people who moved to Charleston, opened businesses and ushered in an era that true Charlestonians don't want to be a part of. It's a shame that this is the best example Bravo could find.

Worst show on Bravo ever! Leva was hard to like on Southern Charm and there is even less to like on Southern Hospitality! She is boring and the episodes are the same: trashy cast get drunk, hook up with everyone, and Leva threatens to fire them...boring boring.

The cast is not interesting either. Not funny, not cute, no substance. Just superficial people with no morales, values serving drinks and food to tourists. People from Charleston don't go to Republic. Tourists go to Republic.

The show just doesn't having anything or anyone worth watching. Dump Southern Hospitality ...there are a lot of classy, interesting young people that represent what Charleston is really about! Find some and give them a reality show!

Horrible show

These girls/guys really think they bring the people into these establishments? Way to much drama and no substance. Don't know what the producers/Leva was thinking with this show. It's horrible. I'm not sure who's worse Grace Lilly or Maddie. I'm sure there will not be a season two....for me there won't even be an episode two. Canceling my Xfinity DVR recording now.

I think Leva should concentrate on having a great restaurant and/or night club without the TV show because it's not good. The employees on the show are shallow and bring nothing to the show. If Grace Lilly was so into herself on the first episode, I can't imagine what she would be like on episode two....and don't get me started on her mom. OMG...I think she's as shallow as her daughter. All this said.... I'm done with the show.

Worst bravo show ever

With all that' is going on in the world who cares about nightclub staff and how many clients they can upsell bottle service to. The whole idea of building a show around a nightclub is silly, dull and boring and completely not relative to the current state of the world. The characters are not relatable and the story lines have been done so many times already years ago. Its too similar to the old vanderpump rules. Bravo please come up with something more entertaining with real people doing real things that are inspiring. I really like bravo shows usually but I find myself not drawn to Leva and her staff and silly mafe up issues.

Seriously with these people? What an embarrassment.

What an embarrassment for Charleston. Why would anyone want to support these establishments if they are filled with people who speak like this? Where did these people go to school? Every thing that comes out if their mouths is vulgar and low class. Do they think it is cute? It isn't. It's gross. The other reviews online are right.

Their parents should be mortified. These trashy girls are a product of their raising. Rehab can help the alcoholics but where do you send people so they stop acting like low class trash?

How did this get a green light for production?

Charleston South Carolina itself is a beautiful area and amazing Southern Hospitality.

Are girls today not told to have class and carry themselves as such? Wow. There is a difference with clutching pearls and being grossed out by what comes out of GL's mouth.

Love this kinda show

I really like the cast I like the atmosphere of both restaurants people are beautiful I like the drama I like the relationship drama it's good TV and I like Leva , it's pretty much what I expected and I like that , maybe it is a Vander pump rules knock off, but we all love that show, so why not?

I started out having my favorites, but after the second episode, I pretty much have different favorites I liked seen on some episode, cast from Southern charm, and I would love to see more of that

Now that the cast is introduced to us, it would be fun to see all the different events and birthday parties for each of them.

A Job In Hell!

The Bravo television program "Southern Hospitality" is THE most tedious "reality" show ever produced. It is monotony ad nauseam with a Boss who exemplifies every attribute we abhor in a supervisor. She is cruel while pretending to care, insecure while posturing toughness, insightful as a rock, and a slave master spouting rhetoric about being a family. Her husband appears to be intellectually compromised and comes off as nothing but a greedy bully. There are a few potentially interesting characters but the Boss's jealousy always stops their development. The story lines are trite and boring and there is no fun in their work environment. I can't stand the Boss on the "other show" and she obviously functions only as an excuse for diversity. This show needs to be cancelled immediately!

Great reality show

I'm actually shocked at the other low reviews on here.

I found this show to be on par with any of the other millennial/zillennial counterparts and equally as entertaining and fulfilling. I'm no slouch at reality tv - been watching Bravo and its many hits for years. The Real Housewives, Vanderpump, Winterhouse and Summerhouse, all the Southern Charms, etc. I thoroughly enjoyed the over the top personalities and naive over ambitious young cast who are all in their own rights quite narcissistic. I don't feel it's a fair assessment to say this show 'lacks substance'. It's in line with the age demographic and reality that these kids face - gender + sexuality exploration, dating, making life choices with regards to further education vs climbing the ladder in the workplace, addiction, mental health, body image, etc. Also, what 'substance' is there ever really to a scripted 'reality' tv show? If viewers are looking for riveting, socioeconomical, political and thought provoking programming, perhaps another genre or other tv station would better serve?

My only real criticism would be of Leva herself. After watching her for years on SC, she really made sure to present herself as very controlled 'business woman' when in fact she very often loses her cool and is inappropriate to say the least. Just a convenient edit/character on the launch of her show. This seemed very inauthentic and not in line with her portrayal for years on SC....she's generally mouthy, biased, unreasonable and out of line.

I recommend this show if you are a lover of the classic reality tv storyline - drama, glam, scandal and love triangles.

vapid boring and embarrassing

If this is an honest representation of current youth and the club/nightlife scene, the world is doomed. I'm an old dude who spent many nights in Studio 54 and know what it's like to be young, carefree and "enjoying" life but also know that all of this must be built on a foundation of substance. These kids appear to be vapid, pretentious and clueless. It's embarrassing and painful to watch. I realize this is a television production but none of the cast comes across as interesting or likable. In fact they would be a reason to NOT patronize these establishments.

It's understandable that this show is popular enough to get renewed for a second season.

As a millennial who grew up on trashy TV, love Southern Hospitality! Of course it's not VanderPump Rules (which I love) It's just another reality show that's full of drama that we all want let's be real. I tried summerhouse and it was boring AF so glad I started southern hospitality. Definitely way better. Everyone comparing VanderPump Rules must have not watched the earlier seasons because those seasons were full of chaos lol. I feel like all the bad reviews are from people who are way older then us millennials and gen z or they are just bitter. Southern hospitality it's more deserving then being "background noise" on people's TV. It is a must watch for sure.
