Quirky and Fun
amybooksy22 July 2022
I enjoyed watching the fourth episode from Live +Local. I have always loved Dave Coulier and was excited that he was part of this new show. I liked the format on what life is like for a radio show. There were a few times where I was wondering if I was really watching a fictional show or it is an actual one. The ads cracked me up and I found myself giggling at those. The interviews with author Anna Lind Thomas and band Anthem Lights. Those were fun to watch, also. Mixed in the interviews and ads, there were dealings with everyday life that many could relate to: anxiety, doubts, trust, holding on to faith, power of forgiveness and embracing gratitude. An overall quirky, sometimes a little too corny, and entertaining episode to watch. I would love to watch the other episodes of Live + Local to see what else is in store for Tommy and Tina. I am giving this one four stars.

Disclosure: Many thanks to Pure Flix for providing a sample of the product for this review. Opinions are 100% my own.

what a gem

This show pulls at heart strings...great family entertainment.

Starts a little slow, but is just building depth, people who critize this show just do not "get it"

Almost nothing more than watching people do morning radio
fftrueblue14 July 2022
The writers of this show took a big gamble and rolled snake eyes. It's like 30 minutes of watching people doing morning radio show with about 5 minutes of behind the scenes stuff mixed in that creates a very thinly woven storyline going between the episodes that displays tension between management and talent. The show is almost nothing more than watching morning radio which is not what I want when I sit down to watch television.

Little more than a morning radio show
mile8green14 July 2022
The writing of this show is a big gamble and they rolled snake eyes. Nearly the entirety of each episode is the two on-air talent doing their radio show, so the viewer experience is more like listening to morning radio. When I sit down to watch television, I want to watch TV, not listen to morning radio. So, despite there being a little bit of story line weaving episodes together that concerns tensions around talent and management, each episode is a disappointment. The behind-the-scenes is less than 5 minutes in a 38-minute episode.
