A number of Full House viewers likely had crushes on John Stamos, who played Uncle Jesse on the ABC sitcom, but his young co-stars didn’t see him that way.
Speaking on the How Rude, Tanneritos! podcast alongside co-star Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, who played next door neighbor and D.J. Tanner’s (Candace Cameron Bure) best friend Kimmy Gibbler, recalled being asked in interviews if she “ever” had “a crush” on Stamos, calling it “a gross question.”
“No,” she added, going on to say of Stamos and fellow co-star Dave Coulier, who played family friend Joey Gladstone, who also helped raise the Tanner girls alongside widowed dad Danny (Bob Saget), “they’re like our older brothers, and we do not think of them that way.”
Sweetin agreed, adding, “Not even older brothers. They’re like my uncles.”

By and large, the 2010s proved to be a superb decade for the horror genre. Following in the footsteps of some of the finest horror movies of all time, the decade played host to a number of standout offerings from one of cinema's oldest genres. The best horror movies of the 2010s featured the likes of The Witch, Get Out, and A Quiet Place to name but a few, while introducing new directorial genre standouts like Jordan Peele and Robert Eggers to a global audience.
However, while the headlines may have been dominated by the likes of the aforementioned big hitters, the horror genre also played host to a number of lesser-known and more underappreciated outings. These films may not have been accompanied by the same mainstream fanfare as some of their more popular contemporaries, but the best obscure horror movies from the 2010s feature a wide range of compelling central premises and characters,...

After five weeks of the hit reality television show, it looks like fan favorite Mark Anderson has finally run out of luck on The Golden Bachelorette, failing to receive a rose from leading lady Joan Vassos and, in turn, getting eliminated just shy of the coveted hometown dates. Poor guy!
As the last remaining man to receive a one-on-one date coming just moments after Keith Gordon got his first one-on-one date as well Mark finally got his time to shine as he and Joan cruised in a red Porsche convertible to their oh-so luxurious date.
Arriving to a yacht, Joan was hoping to see another side of Mark as they cruised along the California coast.
However, the date commenced with complete silence, with the pair having no idea what to say to one another. Yikes!

Back in April, we heard that Greg McLean, the director of the horror films Wolf Creek, Wolf Creek 2, Rogue, The Darkness, and The Belko Experiment (as well as the survival thriller Jungle), had signed on to direct the action horror movie Graveyard Smash from a screenplay by Old Henry and Would You Rather writer Gus Krieger… and while that project is expected to start filming this year, McLean is already looking ahead to his next project, as Deadline reports that he will be writing and directing a supernatural thriller called The First Exorcist, with production to take place in Victoria, Australia sometime in 2025.

Would You Rather movie showcases brutal party games that escalate in violence, revealing the dark intentions of the host Lambrick. From eating steak to shocking tasks, players must make horrifying choices in a twisted game of survival for a cash prize. As the night progresses, the stakes increase with disturbing tasks like stabbing, whipping, drowning, and eye-slitting, leading to tragic outcomes.
Every party game in the Would You Rather movie is incredibly difficult to watch, but also shows why the chilling 2012 thriller is still widely discussed. Would You Rather stars Brittany Snow as Iris, a young woman looking after her sick brother Raleigh. She gets invited by mysterious philanthropist Lambrick (Jeffrey Combs) to take part in a game that, if she wins, means a bone marrow donor will be found for her brother. You know the saying: "It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt." It's something parents used to tell us when we were kids and roughhoused too hard, but in the context of the upcoming horror thriller "All Fun and Games," the adage sounds more like a promise than a warning. The film follows a group of teens whose night of fun turns very high stakes when a demon gets involved, forcing them to play life-or-death versions of the kids' games that many of us love. Fan-favorite actors like Natalia Dyer and Asa Butterfield are among the cast, and the Russo brothers' production company is on board.

Would M. Night Shyamalan want to see dead people or would he rather be unbreakable? Is there any chance he would get in a wrestling ring with Dave Bautista? Or sing with Jonathan Groff? As his new film “Knock at the Cabin” poses an impossible dilemma, Variety asked the filmmaker to play a quick round of “Would You Rather?” with questions set in the universe of his previous films.
As for whether Shyamalan would rather see a film of his gross 500 million or win 12 Academy Awards, the filmmaker doesn’t hesitate.

In an undisclosed location in North Carolina, Jimmy Donaldson is about to show me a million dollars in cash.
Donaldson, a.k.a. MrBeast, is the biggest YouTuber in the country and possibly, by the time this story is published, the world. Rangy at six feet two and clad in a gray Nike sweatsuit, Donaldson has been walking me through his company’s warehouse, showing off the detritus of various videos made under the MrBeast banner, a melange of stunts, pranks, and eye-popping cash giveaways. As everyone who’s made it through all of Netflix’s “Squid Game” can report, there’s just something utterly compelling about getting to watch characters being put through the ringer on a repeated basis, especially when that ringer gets worse and worse each and every time. Whether or not the appeal of the show is discovering which child’s game has been bastardized into a cruel death trap this episode, or simply witnessing the emotional torture of those desperately in debt purely for the entertainment of the wealthy and corrupt — or, you know, we the television audience, but don’t think about that too much — the show has become a phenomenon (and...

It would be naive to think the production shutdowns persisting across Hollywood wouldn’t also affect the output of independent artists, and the 2021 Sundance lineup has borne that unfortunate reality out. This year’s virtual event remains an ambitious undertaking — one more in line with the festival’s adventurous, experimental roots than its current trend-setting, Oscar-baiting footprint — but there are fewer films, and yes, fewer series, too. In its fourth year featuring a section dedicated to serialized stories and indie TV pilots, Sundance 2021 has just four shows in its newly titled Indie Series lineup: “4 Feet High,” “Seeds of Deceit,” “These Days,” and “Would You Rather.” That’s exactly half the total in last year’s Indie Episodic program and in line with the 40 percent drop in overall festival offerings.
Other TV-friendly options are scattered throughout the festival’s 11 categories, including “Philly D.A.,” a docuseries on civil rights attorney Larry Krasner...

Is it possible to choose between Jamie Dornan and Christian Grey? Just ask Dakota Johnson. The High Note star had pick between her Fifty Shades of Grey co-star and his alter ego while playing a game of "Would You Rather" during her virtual visit to Stir Crazy with Josh Horowitz, where she was asked who she'd enlist to join an erotic book club with her. "Probably Jamie," she said. "He's a lot funnier than Christian Grey." During the game, Johnson's infamous gap was also brought up when she was asked to choose between having a 4-inch gap in her teeth or sporting bangs that covered her eyes. As she contemplated the question, she joked that she's been trying to get...

Jimmy Kimmel doesn't always ask serious questions. Sometimes, his questions are downright silly, and sometimes those silly questions are intentional. During a new edition of "3 Ridiculous Questions," the Jimmy Kimmel Live host asked Awkwafina three questions he'd never ask during his regular talk-show. And of course, the Ocean's 8 actress' answers were even funnier than the questions. First up was a "Would You Rather" kind of scenario. As Kimmel asked, "If you could only have one of them on a deserted island: antelope or cantaloupe?" Her response? "Definitely antelope," The Farewell star replied. "As a companion, you know, a friend....

What is The Mandela Effect? Some believe the universe has shifted. Others call it the collective misremembering of any given event. Many think it's just a conspiracy theory, and that humans have never held the capacity to remember anything properly in the history of the world. Now, someone has made a movie about this fascinating phenomenon. And today we have the first trailer featuring Gotham star Robin Taylor.
In the Mandela Effect, a man becomes obsessed with facts and events that have been collectively misremembered by thousands of people. Believing the phenomena to be the symptom of something larger, his obsession eventually leads him to question reality itself.
The Mandela Effect is in Theaters and on VOD December 6, 2019. Many who believe in The Mandela Effect are not happy with this movie. And some claim it's a cheap attempt to write the phenomena off as fiction.

What is it about dashed expectations that breed singer-songwriters? As the Sixties dream cratered, a golden era peaked in Laurel Canyon — think Joni, Jackson, Sweet Baby James — with a tendency towards wistful solipsism. Now, a new one is blooming as the American experiment contemplates its doom. Father John Misty’s cosmic snark, Mitski’s aching character studies, Kurt Vile’s transcendent vagueness — all of them offer strangely comforting proof that hopelessness springs eternal.

Like any great supergroup, Boygenius exists because of the qualities its three members share, but draws its creative spark from the subtle differences between them. The hushed power of Julien Baker’s voice and the pinpoint accuracy of a Lucy Dacus lyric are complementary factors, each one putting the other’s strengths in a new light. Then there’s Boygenius’ third member, Phoebe Bridgers, whose Stranger in the Alps was one of 2017’s finest debuts. Like Dacus and Baker, she’s an incredibly vivid storyteller, someone you’d happily listen...

Rihanna took to social media on Thursday to criticize Snapchat for running an ad that appeared to make fun of Chris Brown's 2009 assault of her, saying the social media company let down domestic violence victims and should be ashamed. Earlier this week, the app ran an ad for a mobile game called "Would You Rather!" It showed photos of the two singers and contained the words "Slap Rihanna" and "Punch Chris Brown." Following a backlash online, Snapchat apologized and pulled the ad, saying in a statement on Monday, "The ad was reviewed and approved in error, as it violates our advertising guidelines. We immediately removed the ad last weekend, once we became...
