A number of Full House viewers likely had crushes on John Stamos, who played Uncle Jesse on the ABC sitcom, but his young co-stars didn’t see him that way.

Speaking on the How Rude, Tanneritos! podcast alongside co-star Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, who played next door neighbor and D.J. Tanner’s (Candace Cameron Bure) best friend Kimmy Gibbler, recalled being asked in interviews if she “ever” had “a crush” on Stamos, calling it “a gross question.”

“No,” she added, going on to say of Stamos and fellow co-star Dave Coulier, who played family friend Joey Gladstone, who also helped raise the Tanner girls alongside widowed dad Danny (Bob Saget), “they’re like our older brothers, and we do not think of them that way.”

Back in April, we heard that Greg McLean, the director of the horror films Wolf Creek, Wolf Creek 2, Rogue, The Darkness, and The Belko Experiment (as well as the survival thriller Jungle), had signed on to direct the action horror movie Graveyard Smash from a screenplay by Old Henry and Would You Rather writer Gus Krieger… and while that project is expected to start filming this year, McLean is already looking ahead to his next project, as Deadline reports that he will be writing and directing a supernatural thriller called The First Exorcist, with production to take place in Victoria, Australia sometime in 2025.

Hot Ones has brought back its holiday-season charity drive for the third consecutive December. The YouTube interview series hosted by Sean Evans has uploaded its latest Holiday Extravaganza in support of Common Threads.

The Hot Ones Holiday Extravaganza is a 40-minute revue filled with games, interviews, and guest appearances. The fundraiser has become an annual tradition on the First We Feast channel. Last year, the BuzzFeed-owned hub set a $150,000 goal for its Common Threads campaign. At the time of this post, the 2023 Holiday Extravaganza has raised more than $17,000 toward its charitable mission.

In addition to revealing whether he’d rather climb into a wrestling ring with Dave Bautista or sing with Jonathan Groff, the director of such films as “The Sixth Sense” and “Split” was posed an intriguing question: would he rather see one of his films gross 500 million at the box office, or win 12 Academy Awards?

According to Variety, his answer was instantaneous: “The 500 million! Not even close!” he responded.

“For me, it’s always the relationship with the audience,” he explained. “It’s all I care about: it’s me and them having a conversation.”
