Sex & Nudity

- The film parallels the life story of a man who made movies replete with nudity and sex. Sexual matters are depicted and discussed frequently throughout the film. The film is grainy and in black and white so not incredibly graphic, and the character Boro is depicted as a wooden box, which lessens the impact of some scenes.
- There is frequent, though often brief full-frontal and rear female nudity as women are posing, being chased, or serving as symbolism.
- There is a one-second closeup shot of a shaved vulva in a sexual context. Another close-up shows a jewel plucked from a mound of pubic hair. Quick closeups of breastfeeding are shown from the perspective of the woman, and from inside the recipient's mouth with milk squirting out.
- A scene of cunnilingus without nudity, with the performer hidden under the woman's nudity. One or two more mildly depicted scenes of sexual pleasure.
- There is a reference to "first homosexual experience", and a glimpse of a centerfold photo. Fetishism includes a very close view of a hand spanking a woman's butt, scenes of voyeurism, and a scene of bestiality.
Violence & Gore

- A man chases and tackles a woman. We're told this led to consensual conception.
- A character is violently assaulted, we see serious damage to the head and a pool of blood below.
- There are scenes of blood dripping down a man's chest from neck wounds, a corpse on the ground with a severely decayed head, and people rummaging through rubble of a bombed-out city. These are all brief. War is mentioned.
- A bird restrained by a string attached to its leg flaps frantically trying to escape. We hear a gunshot as an animal is slaughtered and the sound of it falling. Some stuffed birds are visible a couple of times.
- The only other gore is a woman's water breaking, and a man drooling and wallowing in mud resulting in a frightening appearance.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- Occasional scenes of cigarette smoking, mostly short in duration. One cigar smoker exhales a profusion of smoke, filling the screen for a moment.

- Dangerous imitable behavior: voluntary asphyxiation to the point that the person collapses, unconscious; non-sexual.
- A severely emaciated nude woman is seen for a moment.
- A couple of surreal scenes in which the Box makes scary sounds or is severely damaged.

- The title of one segment is "Bestiality". In silhouette we see an animal with a large erection, and a character touches it in a sexual way.
