Melb vs Haw, at the MCG.

Koschitzke with the first goal for the Hawks, Breust follows. Fritsch replies for the Dees, Hawthorn up 2 at quarter-time. Harmes with a good fend off resulting in a McDonald goal. Gawn's really improved his goal kicking, slots one from 50. Hawthorn competitive, down 9 at the half. Brown kicks his third, Gawn goals again from outside 50. Melbourne kicking away in the 3rd, Petracca having influence. Mitchell gets a few questionable free-kicks in the forward 50. The Hawks make a game of it, but the Dees get home by 10. Melbourne dominated the hit-outs and +11 in clearances. They had 6 more inside 50's, for the same scoring shots. Gawn best afield, with 29 disposals, 35 hit-outs, 9 clearances and 2 goals. Petracca 31 disposals, 8 inside 50's, 637 metres gained, 3 assists and a goal. Oliver 33 disposals, 5 clearances, 8 inside 50's, 5 tackles, 461 metres gained and 11 score involvements. Brown 4 straight goals. For the Hawks, Moore 33 disposals, 5 intercepts, 546 metres gained, a goal and an assist. Sicily 26 disposals, 2 contested marks, 10 intercepts and 631 metres gained.
