If Marilyn was annoying in the last episode, she's even more so in this one:Despite a tongue lashing from Morag, she muscles in on Sid's attempts to come clean to Indi and Romeo and arguably makes the situation worse. It's a nice touch though that both Indigo and Dexter don't bear any resentment against Sid over what's happened.Whilst Sid's sudden acceptance of Romeo as a son-in-law feels like a bit too much of a turnaround, it is nice to see him making an effort.
April proves even worse than Marilyn, as she continues to sneak around behind Xavier's back with Dexter as they both lie to him, and the fact that she eventually manages to steel herself to break his heart doesn't exactly endear her. There's an attempt to legitimise her behaviour with Xavier's attempt to invite her to schoolies(which Bianca observes with the subtlety of a sledgehammer isn't her thing)but neither that nor the nauseating way April coos over Dexter being weird really works. There's some nice friendship bits between Xavier and Ruby.Gina's in full on overbearing mother mode but at least she apologises.
