- The Show revolves around the life struggle of middle-class girl Priya and a business tycoon Ram. The show explores the world of two different individuals who are unmarried due to some reasons and after some wrong communication.

The show explores the worlds of two different personalities; Priya Sharma (Sakshi Tanwar) and Ram Kapoor (Ram Kapoor); who accidentally discover love after they marry. The series is produced by Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Telefilms. After the story took a five year leap in July 2012, many new actors and characters were introduced, including Samir Kochhar, who plays the parallel male lead role as Rajat Kapur.
