Driven to a place that neither one of them wants to visit, a man and a woman are drawn back to a beach they used to frequent, hoping to discover a clue that will unlock the suicide of a friend. Tormented by his death and their own roles in his self-annihilation they fight amongst themselves. Their relationship poisoned by an event that neither one of them can understand or accept. They try to find a way to reconcile their own friendship in the face of a decision and a death that has made them question their own moral natures and whether they could have or did do, enough.
