Good Movie

This is a very good war movie.

You can experience the war of those days. The performances of the actors are also excellent. It's a movie that I want many viewers to see.

Especially the description of the war is so real. If you are interested in World War II, it is worth watching at least once.

The director's directing stands out and makes us look forward to the next work.

Drama is also good. It's not just an action movie. That satisfied me.

It would have been nice if the movie was longer, but it's enough now. I think it was edited very well. The ending was great, too. I think it'll be an unforgettable movie.

Very good movie

I loved the movie, and the action. Unfortunately, the only version I found to watch, was spoken in Russian, with no English subtitles. I am good with history, particularly WWII history, on the Eastern Front, so I had a good idea what was going on. And the action was good. But, it would've been even better if I had known all that they were speaking, considering that I know only a very few words of the Russian language. But it still was a very good film, that kept me on the edge of my seat. And the music was excellent, and I loved the old WWII weapons, that they were using, too! So I give it an 8 out of a 10. Great job, moviemaker!

World War II story centered on solid characters

If you're looking for an epic, action-packed war film, this low-budget film from Kazakhstan may not be what you want, but this well-made character-oriented film certainly offers viewers a lot.

Although not "full of action," there are very effective small combat scenes, especially when an effective group meets a massacred German unit (completed with dead bodies hanging from trees).

The SFX/PyrotECHNICS team is doing great on a small budget, and everything is filmed very well with powerful orchestral scores.

Actor Azamat Nigmanov is a name I've never heard of before, but he's done a good job here, and I'll be sure to watch his future projects.

This movie is new and new just because it is not a common Russian war movie, but a World War II film featuring an Asian (biological) actor in Kazakhstan.

It's really great WWI action I've ever seen before, some touching and realistic drama from based on real story If you really want to watch the real story that seems to be rough back ground of 1st world war, you'd better watch this and study with your friends Good to watch for killing and healing time !!!

I will watch it one more time and recommend it to my old friend to do it Some people say that it's old style but sometime the old is better than the new one.

As I remember the main actor and actress are not famous in worldwide but they played well and good performance in this movie and make a harmony with the back ground well I really recommend this movie to watch it.

The story of soldiers who lost their allies and survived the war.

In the middle of the war, he butter up the rough journey to return to his country.

They have to watch the deaths of innocent citizens who helped them, and they do not give up and use the situation to survive even when they are captured.

It calmly depicts the misery and despondency of such soldiers.

The real winner is the one who doesn't give up until the end of the war and endure the desperate moment.

The movie is about a soldier who actually survived World War II.

If you want to see a true soldier, watch this movie. You will never be disappointed.

well made movie

This film depicts Kazakh veterans of World War II trying to kill a German military commander while surrounded by German troops.

War is no longer a thing of the past, but is approaching in the present. I didn't feel comfortable while watching this movie.

There were many scenes that felt realistic, so I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. It was surprising that the horrors of war were captured well in the directing of the subtle tension. It is a strange environment that does not go crazy.

The overall directing and appropriate sights, and the acting of the actors are also excellent.

I was able to feel how many people died in the war, even if it was a movie. A well-made movie with an overwhelming atmosphere, and a life movie with a clear message.

Action scene was not bad, and the storyline of main character is nice.

He never give up no matter what he suffer from German.

He has a good responsibility of his army, so he brings all of them at the victory place.

I recommend you this film for those who wants to get emotional touching story, so don't hesitate, and enjoy it.

I don't usually write reviews, but I didn't expect this movie to be this good, but I don't get a lot of compliments. Don't believe in ratings, it's definitely worth watching.

The main characters located at the beginning of the film on different sides of the barricades under the influence of dramatic events re-redefine their life path.

It is a story of human despair and loneliness, even with a good measure of sad humor. The acting feels very natural, almost improvisational, the movies asks you to think and to feel.

Leto 1941 goda radically opposes any conventional interpretation pattern to unsettle the viewer with its complex metaphors and concept.

It's a movie worth watching!

Kazakhstan... It's a very strange and new country, but their movie is great.

Of course, the running time is quite long, unfamiliar actors come out, and the CG or special effects are not very fancy, but he drew the war movie seriously well.

Most of them die in one unit, and only a few soldiers survive. In the midst of a fierce war... They need the Germans to break through the siege and return home. An innocent citizen who gave them a helping hand was killed unjustly. They have to watch helplessly and secretly... He expressed the sorrow of the war well.

And when they were taken prisoner, they were really in despair, but they didn't give up on themselves and sacrificed for each other and eventually survived to the end. As a result, they are remembered to this day.

An underrated film

I cant understand all the negative comments, people just like to be critical for the sake of it. Ok, it is a low budget film, Ok, it has lots of flaws, but take it for what it is, a bit of fictional entertainment that takes you out of it for an hour or so. I didnt mind the accents, they were there to show the men were just ordinary working class people, and anyone could understand they were supposed to be Germans and Russians, come on it didnt take a lot of brain cells to work it out. I preferred it like it was rather than having to read a lot of subtitles. Your mind fills in the blanks and you understand they are meant to be speaking different languages, but it makes it simple to understand what is going on. I thought the story was original and it kept me wondering how it was going to pan out, but I guessed the ending. I liked it, and if you accept it is no Private Ryan it is watchable and entertains. I have seen a lot worse coming out of hollywood.

It is a movie that shows who the real victims of war are and who the winners are.

There is no such thing as around the brave hero often seen in war movies, but it reveals the horrors of war and shows the living hell itself. The deaths of soldiers in the war are meaningless terrible deaths themselves. Hunger, really, loneliness, etc. The only comfort is that I am going through it with my colleagues struggling to live in the same place. War shows this is exactly what hell is like.

Instead of the main character's colorful action, the film shows a terrible survival journey. The images of soldiers dying in the war... The vivid description is the ferocity itself. Hunger is the driving force for life, but survival instinct is also just another aspect of a human being struggling in the hell of war.

It's a pity that another tragedy is happening again on Earth without realizing the horrors of war.
