To start, I love sci-fi, especially of the more speculative and less mass violence variety. Most of this I thoroughly enjoyed. New world building, dialects, culture, fish-out-of-water aspects. All interesting and novel enough to more than make it worth my time.
HOWEVER... if you're going to ask me to give hours of my attention to your story, it should have a payoff that's worth it. This did not.

Where did the kid with the orange eyes come from? Where did they go?
Is Bella's Mom still alive?
If Maite's alive, how and where?
What happens to the Mooners on Earth?
What is going on with IO?
Why is there seemingly no way to contact Earth and warn them?
Why did Bella's Mom go to the Moon and abandon her on Earth?
Who was her Dad?
Was it ALIENS?
This is leaving aside the questions of how if we could make a computer that could start a moon spinning, terraform it & instantly clean polluted water, why can't we fix our own damn selves? How can people used to Moon/Earth gravity & 02 content go back and forth without problems?
The biggest and most glaring one is how are a bunch of moon hippies supposed to help bitter, desperate and callous Earthers? Like how is their physical presence here supposedly the magical fix for all of our problems? It's never even remotely addressed in the show. If it was, I sure missed it.
I am very glad I waited until all episodes were out to watch it. I would have been PISSED if I'd waited week to week. If I watch the second season (which yeah, I probably will), then I will DEFINITELY wait till it's all out and see what the reviews are like on the last episode to see if it's worth it.
Writers- please respect your audience more. You CAN answer old questions while also asking new ones to keep us coming back (and also getting your show renewed).
