Continuity
At the Beginning of the movie Ryan Reynolds is equipping himself with a pair of pistols concealed behind the large Flat panel display, then a phone and car keys from the table. Between a few cuts he can be seen wearing two different watches, an Omega Speedmaster Chronograph and a Patek Philippe Sky Moon Tourbillon.
When they crash the Ford C-Max right after stealing the car (it is a mystery how they have circumvented the immobilizer without electronics anyway) they crash it hard enough to activate the airbags. However, when they drive off after the crash, there is no damage visible.
During the car chase with the Ford C-max in the water channel, the hood (bonnet) flies off when jumping. The next shot of the car, he drives under a bridge and the hood is still present. When the car leaves the underside of the bridge, the hood is back off.
When Darius jumps from the building, while Michael says "no," Darius is in handcuffs; but when he is falling from the building, he clearly has no handcuffs but after falling they magically reappear.
In the bar fight scene where Kinkaid first met his wife, Sonia raised her right leg & kicked one guy in the stomach. At the moment she's wearing boots & short pants or skirt, for her whole boot & leg was shown. In exact next scene when her leg was down, she's dressed in tight long jeans without any chance to show her leg or boot, no matter how high one kicks.
INCORRECT: Sonia is wearing jeans and high heels throughout the entire scene.
When Sonia is being questioned in her cell, she is sitting lotus position in the chair, left on top of right leg. In a different camera angle her legs are crossed the opposite direction.
When Professor Asimov testified at the trial that Dukhovich killed his wife and child, Dukhovich's attorney objected that this was hearsay and the court granted the objection and excluded the testimony. The testimony was not hearsay. Hearsay is testifying about what someone else said happened. Asimov was testifying about events that he directly witnessed and the testimony should have been allowed.
Contrary to the way it is frequently portrayed in popular culture, Interpol is not a supranational law enforcement agency and has no agents who are able to make arrests. Instead, it is an international organization that functions as a network of criminal law enforcement agencies from different countries. The organization thus functions as an administrative liaison among the law enforcement agencies of the member countries, providing communications and database assistance, assisted via the central headquarters.
Car airbags all have two large (approx 5cm/2") holes in the back so the airbag deflates almost immediately after a crash. This is why airbags ALWAYS appear deflated in wrecked cars, so there was no need to shoot holes in the airbags, and indeed the bags would already have been mostly deflated by the time Kincaid shot holes in them.
The helicopter leaving the hospital would not have been red and white in the Netherlands. The right color is bright yellow.
The police uniforms, logos and striping on the police cars are all incorrect. This is a discrepancy, but most likely not an error. Dutch police has in recent years become apprehensive to having its likeness being used by film and television productions. The filmmakers probably had to come up with alternative designs. Even Dutch productions have trouble getting approval.
Belarus never signed or acceded to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court. Therefore the ICC lacks jurisdiction to try Vladislav Dukhovich for his crimes. However, in the plot of the movie, Dukhovich's regime has been overthrown. Who's to say that the new regime wouldn't be a signatory to the ICC and allow the trial to take place.
When he first appears, Kincaid is shown in leg irons in Manchester. Leg irons are illegal throughout Europe and are not used... officially. However, being illegal doesn't means they aren't used unofficially. Kincaid's wife was being held for no lawful reason, and was going to be released in return for his cooperation; further examples of illegal practice.
During the fight in the hardware store, Michael fires a nail gun that isn't attached to an air compressor. Additionally, nail guns can't be fired unless the tip is pressed against the surface to be nailed. ACTUALLY: It's a battery powered nail gun.
During the trial scene, Darius Kincaid requests that a court employee access an FTP site to show some evidence. The employee accesses the server and displays some images. FTP servers are like file cabinets and do not display documents, only store them.
When Kincaids prison transport is getting ambushed, all bullet holes look the same. One of them even appears on the plastic front grille of one of the police cars, while it has a bullet-into-metal texture to it.
The chairs ins Sonia's cell are Emeco Navy Chairs. While this chair is well known in the U.S. and in use in many official police and military facilities there, it is not in use in such facilities in the Netherlands and not as well known in Europe in general - a sign that the scenes where shot in a studio.
The Dutch plates on the semi that the Porsche crashes into are incorrect. The combination is not valid for that class of vehicle. Plus isn't an extant combination for any other vehicle.
When Bryce is picking up the drugged up attorney the attorney comes out from under the table and swipes a few pills from the table into his mouth. There are 2 spilled pill bottles and dozens of pills lying all over the table. When the camera changes angles the pills and bottles are missing.
Right after they switch cars and Darius smashes the driver's window to open the car, the driver's window is fogging as they drive down the road and argue about why Amelia dumped Michael. One can even see water streaming on the glass due to the rain.
It seems impossible that a burning tire (from presumably Mr. Siefert's car that exploded in the underground car park), could manage to get itself bouncing across the road.
Darius was transported from the prison. The convoy was attacked. Many police/agents detailed to protect Darius wore bullet proof vests yet the bullets ripped through the vests as though they were nothing. There was nothing in the setup to indicate that the weapons were high power or that the vests were inferior.
Kincaid's view of Kurosawa was from the rear left quarter of the aircraft, yet the shot comes through the window perpendicular to the aircraft.
Kincaid and Bryce take a ferry from Dover to Amsterdam. There is no ferry from Dover to Amsterdam and hasn't been for years.
The Jaguar at the beginning of the movie is OU16 LVA. The 16 on UK number plates means the car was registered between March 2016 and end of August 2016. Shortly after, the movie moves to two years later which at the time of writing is the future assuming the film is set in present day.
If no other dates are referenced, there is no reason why the film must be set on the day it is made, or released, but if the 16 is valid, then the later scenes would have some UK number plates with 18, 68 etc.
When Kincaid and Bryce first meet they have a struggle that ends with Kincaid holding a gun, and Bryce holding the magazine from the gun. Bryce is pushing bullets out of the magazine with his thumb, but when they hit the floor the sound is the ring of empty shells, not the clunk of live cartridges as it should be (the magazine would not be loaded with empty shells).
As Kincaid is about to faint, he is heard saying, "Oh shit", but his mouth doesn't move.
Camera shadow visible on the freeway, before the truck smashes into Dukhovich's men's car in pursuit of Kincaid.
There's no subway nor aqueduct in The Hague (where the final chase takes place).
There isn't a single mountain in Belarus, yet there's one shown one at the beginning of the movie.
There is no conceivable route from Manchester to any part of continental Europe that passes through Coventry. The options would be either to fly out of Manchester (or a local field) which is ~100 miles from Coventry or to drive to a sea port on the South or East coast entirely via the motorway network. In the latter case, one might pass a few miles from Coventry on the M6 if heading to the East coast but wouldn't come off for any reason.
Before Michael and Darius get dropped off at the Dover-Amsterdam ferry by the van full of nuns, out of the window in the background, the NEMO Science Museum can be seen, which is actually in Amsterdam, not Dover. The van clearly is driving through Amsterdam, but after they get dropped off, the movie continues as if they just took the ferry from Dover to Amsterdam.
The International Court of Justice, as seen on screen, is poorly photo-shopped on Dam square in central Amsterdam.
Quote from the ICC website "ICC Registry staff offer various means of practical support to witnesses, from obtaining visas so they can travel to the seat of the Court in The Hague, the Netherlands, assistance during their travel and stay at the place of testimony, to setting up video link services so witnesses can testify closer to their place of residence when granted by the Chamber."
This means that Kincaid could testify during Interpol captivity in the UK, and didn't need to travel to the court in The Hague.
When Michael Bryce is preparing to pick the lock of the Mercedes, his pick kit has tools used on house-type locks. "Wigglers," used to pick automotive locks, are not in his kit. If the character is adept at lock picking, he should know his picks aren't the right type.
When Professor Asimov testifies at the ICC, the judge rejects the testimony because it is supposedly hearsay even though he is a obviously direct witness to his own experience therefore is direct evidence.
Despite being shot in the upper calf at close range with military style rifle, not only did the round not result in an exit wound, Darius is shown walking almost normally throughout many later parts of the film.
Everybody knew everybody else's location so consistently. When Michael Bryce was getting interrogated Darius Kincaid knew his location. When Vladislav Dukhovich ran on rooftop Darius Kincaid knew again and chased him there, and when Michael Bryce was in hardware store Darius Kincaid knew and reached there on time. All were fitted with GPS perhaps.
In the span of a few seconds Dukhovich pronounces 'charade' in two very different ways.
