It's a great movie about a Turkish Bey who is in love with a Macedonian girl, during the Ottoman Empire. The girl doesn't want to be with him, because he is a Turkish, and in that time Macedonia is under Turkish slavery.The Turks forced the Macedonian girls to change religion, from Christianity to Islam, during the Ottoman Empire. The Macedonian girl refuses to be with him, so The Turkish Bey decide to grab the girl and takes in his palace. He offers her thousand stuff, like jewelry, expensive foods, clothing, etc., but she still doesn't want to be with him. After several events, he decides to marry her and change his religion into Christianity. This action is contrary from what Turks do in that time. It tell us that he really love her, and want to be with her. Unfortunately, authorities catch him and took him to court. The Macedonian girl's testimony will be crucial for the fate of Turkish Bey, which will depends on her testimony. She pointed out that in his desire was in his palace and so they stay together and live happily ever after.
