The Odo (Ohdo) twins, Yuhi and Yuamu, are elementary school students in charge of a company called Uchujin Toraburu Sodansha (UTS) that solves Earthling problems with aliens. During one of their jobs, they meet an alien called Yudiasu (Yudias), who came to Earth to learn about rush duels for his own reasons. Yuhi believes that he was the one who stole his Asudama (Earthdamar) and challenges him to a duel.

UTS, which now has Yuudiasu (Yudias) as a member, gets visited by Sogetsu Manabu (Manabu Sogetsu), Nyandesuta (Nyandestar) and other members from Meiwaku Iseijin Kanshikiko (MIK), an organization responsible for monitoring aliens that come, go or stay on Earth. They demand that Yuudiasu turns himself in for deportation because he's in Earth illegally, but Yuudiasu convinces Manabu to duel him for his freedom.

A series of assaults by a strange creature have been happening around Mutsuba-cho (Mutsuba Town). The UTS learns of it when one of their members also becomes a victim of the assaulter during a company's barbecue. They decide to go all out after the culprit.

Yuhi accidentally breaks the Baruberugya (Valvelgear), Yuudiasu's (Yudias) spaceship, and runs away on a quest to fix it before anyone notices it. Meanwhile, Yuudiasu goes shopping with Yuamu, but Kaburagi Chupataro (Chupataro Kaburagi) lures him into a garbage disposal facility in an attempt to trap him.

On laundry day, Yuhi ends up finding the alien that stole Yuhi's Asudama (Earthdamar). His name is Kawai Teru (Tell Kawai), and Yuhi challenges him to a duel for his Asudama. The alien accepts with the condition that, if Yuhi loses, he has to become Kawai's experimental subject for the rest of his life.

Yuudiasu (Yudias) is curious about how Zuwijou (Zwijo) is alive and decides to go looking for him. Yuhi and Yuamu join him to help, only to spend a week doing so and not finding a clue of Zuwijou's whereabouts. So, the trio decide it's time to go back to work in UTS and end up chasing a couple of new urban myths.

Due to the struggle he had in his last duel, Yuudiasu (Yudias) realizes he's not as good in rush duels as he expected. He believes he has to improve a lot if he wants to achieve his goals, so he starts studying and asks Yuhi to train him until he becomes an expert.

Yuamu's childhood friend, Atachi Manya (Manya Atachi), is an actress coming from the big city to Mutsuba-cho (Mutsuba Town), her home town, appear on a local rush duel TV show. Since UTS have a good reputation, they have been chosen to pick one of their members to be Manya's opponent in the show. When the group finally meets Manya, Yuamu finds out that Manya has a totally different personality from their childhood. Hence, for the old times, Yuamu steps in as Manya's opponent.

The rush duel TV show starring Atachi Manya (Manya Atachi) continues, but instead of picking an UTS opponent, she decides to pick Manabu from the audience. He was there to investigate a weak alien energy that Nyandesuta (Nyandestar) was detecting, but he accepted the challenge when Manya revealed that his opponent was gonna be a dog that he met when he was a kid.

Chupataro interrupts the rush duel TV show and demands to participate in the 3rd and last duel of it. Yuudiasu (Yudias) takes on the challenge and as soon as the duel begins, he notices a strange black aura coming out of Chupataro's duel disk.

After the incident in the rush duel TV show, the MIK interrogates Yuudiasu (Yudias) in an attempt to find Zuwijou's (Zwijo) whereabouts. Yuudiasu doesn't know, and since he almost failed to stop Zuwijou's plans again, he lost the confidence in his dueling skills. Because of that, he decides to start his duel training from scratch, but in hard mode.

Yuudiasu (Yudias) finally gets the chance to confront Zuwijou (Zwijo), who finally reveals his plan. He wants to use the Asudama (Earthdamar) to put a violent end to the war in their home, Berugya Seidan (Velgear Star Cluster), before it spreads around the galaxy. Yuudiasu doesn't agree with the violence on Zuwijou's plan, so he decides to take Zuwijou on in a duel to stop him.

As Zuwijou (Zwijo) started using Asudama's (Earthdamar) power to turn rush duel monsters into solid vision, he got inside the summoned ace of his deck to control it. He uses the monster to attack Yuudiasu (Yudias), but Yuudiasu is fast enough to keep the duel going while evading his attacks.

Rondon (London) comes to UTS with a case to look for a missing girl in the dangerous prison for illegal aliens Uchujin Kyojuku (Alien Residential Area). After some persuasion from Rondon, Yuhi and Yuamu were gonna accept the job, but Gyarikuson (Galixon) intervenes, saying it's a bad idea to go to there and confronts Rondon for insisting on it. Gyarikuson challenges Rondon for a duel in over UTS taking the case or not.

After taking the case Rondon's (London) requested, the UTS enters the Uchujin Kyojuku (Alien Residential Area) only to be ambushed by 3 Jaji Debirusu (Jersey Devils) siblings. The Debirusu demand a toll-duel in an attempt to snatch their duel power.

After spending a whole day in the unsuccessful attempt to find the informant in Uchujin Kyojuku (Alien Residential Area), the UTS goes back to headquarters to rest. Suddenly, Yuhi starts acting weird, then freaks out swearing that he met a ghost.

The UTS finally finds the informant and Yuamu immediately challenges him to a duel for the information on Goha Yuna (Yuna Goha), the missing girl from Rondon's (London) case, who happens to be the president of Goha Koporeshon (Goha Enterprises). Yuamu says that if she loses, she'll give the informant information that he doesn't know.

In the quest to find Yuna, UTS needs to get to Paronjo (Badloon Castle), a dark area in Uchujin Kyojuku (Alien Residential Area). To do so, they have to increase their duel power. In order to quickly do so, they enter the Goroseo (Gollosseum) to partake in high ranked duels.

After a huge win streak in the Goroseo (Gollosseum), UTS still doesn't have enough duel power. While they think of a new strategy to get to Paronjo (Badloon Castle), MIK finds them. They demand that UTS leave the Uchujin Kyojuku (Alien Residential Area), since they clearly have been there incognito and the prison is under their jurisdiction. During the argument, a higher up from MIK shows up and decides that the Uchujin Kyojuku is gonna be closed, leading the situation to an even bigger argument.

UTS gets confronted by a mysterious girl who clearly have some of the information they've been seeking. Initially, she refused to accept the duel for the information, but once she laid eyes on Yuudiasu's (Yudias) unusual duel disk, she accepted the duel with the condition that, if she wins, she will take it along with all of UTS' duel power.

After losing the duel to Yuna and getting kicked out of the Goroseo (Gollosseum), UTS goes back to their headquarters. Confused about Yuna's actions suggesting that she wasn't kidnapped, but willingly affiliated with the bandits of Paronjo (Badloon Castle), they also learn that Rondon (London), the client who asked them to find Yuna, has been missing for a while. On top of that, Yuudiasu (Yudias) went also missing over the night, so Yuhi and Yuamu rush out to find him.

In order to free Yuudiasu (Yudias), Yuhi and Yuamu have to face Yuna's boss: Kirishima Rovian (Rovian Kirishima), leader of the bandits of Paronjo (Badloon Castle). The Odo (Ohdo) twins immediately realize how Rovian has the same surname as Rondon (London). She challenges both of them to a 2x1 duel.

After losing the duel to Rovian and failing to save save Yuudiasu (Yudias), the Odo (Ohdo) twins got saved by Manya and Bochi before Rovian and her henchmen got to them. They were going home, but Yuhi insists that they have to save Yuudiasu, so Bochi start to lead them back to Paronjo (Badloon Castle) through a secret city under the Uchujin Kyojuku (Alien Residential Area).

The Odo (Ohdo) twins successfully sneak in and out Paronjo (Badloon Castle), grabbing the cloth that seems to be imprisoning Yuudiasu (Yudias). Now, along with Manya, Bochi, Manabu and Nyandesuta (Nyandestar), they're off to find a way of bringing Yuudiasu back.

After the return of Yuudiasu (Yudias), Yuna, Rovian and her henchmen appear on UTS headquarters and offer to buy the company for a rare ore found only in Mutsuba-cho (Mutsuba Town). Yuudiasu tells them that UTS is only gonna consider the offer if Rovian can win a duel against him.

The duel between Rovian and Yuudiasu (Yudias) for a consideration of selling UTS to Rovian continues. During the duel, Rondon (London) sneaks into an UTS warehouse and opens a hidden trapdoor secret even to UTS themselves. Yuamu follows Rondon to find out what's he up to.

Chupataro leaves prison and gets picked up by Yuudiasu (Yudias). At UTS headquarters, Chupataro apologizes to everyone for his actions and tells them that he wants to fix Meegu-chan's (Meeeg) reputation. To do so, he wants to make an anime about her and offers to pay for UTS' help.

As Mutsuba-cho (Mutsuba Town) spaceship accelerates towards deep space following Zuwijou's (Zwijo) plan to defeat the Kyofu no Daio (King of Terror), Yuhi gets upset because he can't duel. Since Baruberugya (Valvelgear) has become his duel disk, he refuses to use another one, but Baruberugya is currently attached to the spaceship to boost it's speed and power. Yuhi decides to ask for the Baruberugya back to Asaka, since she's the president of Mutsuba Juki (Mutsuba Heavy Machinery), which controls Mutsuba-cho.

Asaka has been hearing a lot of complaints due to her piloting of the spaceship, so she hires Yuhi and Yuamu go deal with a specific person that is getting on her nerves. When they get there, they find out that Yuudiasu (Yudias) is learning about balance with that person.

Yuamu has been making everyone in UTS to eat the same meal for weeks to collect stickers and exchange them for the plates of a store's promotion. Upon collecting all of the stickers, she immediately goes to the store to collect the last plate, but she finds out the manager accidentally broke all of the plates. Yuamu keeps pushing the manager to get her a new one, but he refuses it every time. As a last resort, Yuamu challenges the manager to a duel where, if he loses, he has to get her a new plate. He accepts it.

During a discussion about the upcoming fight with Kyofu no Daio (King of Terror) at Asaka's office in Mutsuba-cho (Mutsuba Town) spaceship, Ranran (Lanlan) shows up on a video call ordering them to turn back, but Asaka tells her that the mission is will go on. Ranran keeps arguing until Asaka decides to challenges her to a remote duel for the leadership of the mission.

Kyofu no Daio's (King of Terror) spaceship breaches into Mutsuba-cho (Mutsuba Town) spaceship and deploys a path between the 2 spaceships. Since Kyofu no Daio didn't come out, everybody involved in the mission (UTS, MIK and others) decide to go together confront him.

After Rovian loses a duel to Kyofu no Daio (King of Terror), or Za Rugu (The Luge), and gets frozen by him, everybody goes back to Mutsuba-cho (Mutsuba Town) to try to unfreeze her. Yuna tells them that, by being the president of Goha Koporeshon (Goha Enterprises) (the company that created rush duels), she ordered the creation of a card strong enough to defeat Za Rugu. But before the card gets ready, everybody is summoned by him to the 2nd match of the tournament between Mutsuba-cho and his team.

After Manya wins a duel against Za Mokeida Mubenbe in the 2nd match of Za Rugu's (The Luge) tournament, everybody goes back to Mutsuba-cho (Mutsuba Town) and discusses about how Za Rugu doesn't feel evil, although he freezes everybody who loses in his tournament. They also realize that Nyandesuta (Nyandestar) still hasn't arrived with the card that Yuna ordered. When they were gonna start looking for her, they are summoned by Za Rugu for the 3rd match of his tournament.

During the duel between Manabu and Nyandesuta (Nyandestar) on the 3rd match of Za Rugu's (The Luge) tournament, everybody finally caught Rondon (London), who has been acting behind their backs for some time and escaping successfully. After Nyandesuta loses the duel and gets frozen, everybody goes back to Mutsuba-cho (Mutsuba Town) to interrogate Rondon.

Thanks to the Rondon's (London) successful plan of purposely losing the 4th match against Za Rugu (The Luge) in his tournament and use Fissha Sukai (Sky Fisher) to expose to everyone how's Za Rugu freezing people, everybody goes back to Mutsuba-cho (Mutsuba Town) to discuss how to permanently stop him. Meanwhile, Za Rugu's henchmen do the same, since they also heard Sukai revelation and can finally avenge their home planets, which were also frozen by Za Rugu.

After Zuwijou (Zwijo) frustrates Yuamu and Ieti Yukiotoko's (Yeti Yukio) attempt of make Za Rugu (The Luge) believe that his comic is good and put it away forever, permanently containing his power, in the 5th match of his tournament, Zuwijou reveals his reasons and intentions. Yuhi disagrees and challenges him to a duel in order to stop him.

After winning against Yuhi, Zuwijou (Zwijo) continues his plan of manipulating Za Rugu (The Luge) to use or eventually take his freeze power. Yuna, with Asaka's help, finally manages to finish making the strong card she wanted to defeat Za Rugu and unfreeze Rovian, so she immediately goes to confront him.

The duel for changing Za Rugu's mind continues after Yuna fainted and Odo Yuga (Yuga Ohdo), whose name remains a secret in this anime so far, took over her place in the the tag duel between Za Rugu (The Luge) and his copy against Yuudiasu (Yudias) and Yuna.

As Mutsuba-cho (Mutsuba Town) spaceship heads back to Earth, everyone decides to take a detour and go to Nyakayoshisei (Planet Pawtner) to save Nyandesuta's (Nyandestar) people, since they have been frozen by Za Rugu (The Luge) a long time ago. Meanwhile, Yuhi and Yuudiasu (Yudias) decide to build a dojo for duel training.

Upon arriving at Nyakayoshisei (Planet Pawtner), everyone unfreeze the planet's population as planned. They also find out that the Nyakayoshiseijin (Pawtners) are traumatized by games due to Za Rugu's (The Luge) actions. Suddenly, Manabu finds a Berugyajin (Velgearian) girl spying on them. Turns out she's Dinowa (Dinois), one of Zuwijou's (Zwijo) allies. Mitsuko challenges her to a duel for information on Zuwijou's whereabouts. Dinowa accepts with the condition that, if Mitsuko loses, she can never see Zuwijou again.

After finding out Zuwijou (Zwijo) is back on Berugya Seidan (Velgear Star Cluster), everyone decided to go there instead of back to Earth. Since it's too far, they stopped at another planet to search for Goradoniumu (Goradonium), a mineral that will allow Mutsuba-cho (Mutsuba Town) spaceship to fly at light speed.

After watching Manabu's report explaining how everyone decided to go after Zuwijou (Zwijo), Ranran (Lanlan), guided by a mysterious voice in her head, decides to train to conquer her fear of ugly things. Her goal is to to be able to face her ultimate fear: the Asudama (Earthdamar).

While Asudama-possessed (Earthdamar) Ranran (Lanlan) set out to space with Myuda (Muda), Mutsuba-cho (Mutsuba Town) spaceship arrives at Berugya Seidan (Velgear Star Cluster), but not on the desired side of it. Everyone immediately get contacted by the army of Dyuddi Dyukkasu (Dudi Ducasse) and have their presence questioned. Yuudiasu (Yudias) explains that they got there by accident and that they only want to peacefully proceed to his home planet, but Mutsuba-cho spaceship ends up getting boarded by the army. Asaka starts a plan to fight back, but Yuudiasu stops her and says that, instead, he's simply gonna confront their commander.

After everyone else opened the way distracting the army of Dyuddi Dyukkasu (Dudi Ducasse), Yuudiasu (Yudias), Yuhi and Yuamu made it to the army's commander's room. Yuudiasu explains the situation again and challenges the commander Dyuddi Nishou (Dudi Nishaw) to a duel with the condition that, if he wins, Dyuddi have to let them pass rather than imprisoning them for trespassing. The commander can't decide whether to accept or ignore the challenge, so he flips a coin.

Shortly after getting released by the army of Dyuddi Dyukkasu (Dudi Ducasse) and resuming their journey, 3 objects from space fall on Mutsuba-cho (Mutsuba Town) spaceship. Manabu immediately runs to the nearest crash site and finds out it's Ranran (Lanlan). She tells him that the other 2 are Myuda (Muda) and Asudama (Earthdamar) and explains what happened between the 3 of them back on Earth. Manabu, then, quickly goes to the next crash site where he finds Yuudiasu (Yudias), Yuhi and Yuamu investigating an empty crater. Manabu tells them that is probably the Asudama's crash site and that he heard from Ranran that Asudama can possess people. Manya, Bochi and Rondon (London) were also close, so Manabu holds everyone at the site to find out who may be possessed by it.

Despite finding out that Yuamu is the one possessed by the Asudama (Earthdamar), nobody knows how to deal with the situation. Also, Yuhi starts to act cold towards everyone and everything. He decides that UTS is now useless, and that the building should be demolished and replaced by apartments to rent. Gyarikuson (Galixon) intervenes, saying he needs permission from Yuamu, the president, to do so. Although Asudama is possessing her, the discussion leads to a duel between Asudama and Yuhi. If Yuhi wins, Asudama will make him UTS' president, but if he loses, he has to become Asudama's friend.

Still possessing Yuamu's body, Asudama (Earthdamar), now calling himself Damamu because of Yuhi's pun between his name and Yuamu's, takes Yuhi and Myuda (Muda) to meet Zuwijou (Zwijo). Upon arriving and confronting Zuwijou, Yuhi realizes he's on Berugya's (Velgear) 8th planet: Yuudiasu's (Yudias) home.

After Zuwijou (Zwijo) announced to the Berugyajin (Velgearians) that their council approved the use of rush duels to fight the war, Yuhi and Yuamu went to confront him. During the argument, Yuudiasu (Yudias) arrives, also objecting his plan.

The duels of Yuudiasu (Yudias) against Zuwijou (Zwijo) and Damamu against Yuga their spaceships that transformed into gigantic duel disks continue. Yuudiasu wants to stop Zuwijou's plan of using Asudama's (Earthdamar) power to materialize rush duel monsters to fight the war.
