Wow! So many questions answered in a single episode!

Warning: Spoilers
Just finished this episode and I LOVED it! It's my favorite episode of the whole series. Sister Andrea killing all of those demons in Kristen's house with a shovel while also chatting with one of Kristen's daughters was both hilarious and badass! I love Andrea!! And Kristen finding out that her mom is working with Leland!! OMG

Kristen's husband starting to remember what happened to him(being imprisoned by Leland and Cheryl). And then Kristen's psychiatrist being there with Andy at the end of the episode being like "he'll ya, Andy, this is the demon life, baby!".

As I type this I hope its not the last episode but it probably is since it was so impactful. I cannot WAIT for the next season if it is...

The End is near (no not the end of the series)
Nightmarelogic14 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Kristen's egg just getting murdered so easily was kind of a cop out wasn't it? Having Leland be daddy to her egg baby is soooooooo much better. I approve. Quick question though, why does Leland want her egg so badly? Is it just to mess with her head? I mean she does have some really cute and intelligent kids. Plus there is Lexis...... So maybe we will find out there is some demon blood already in the family. But other then that it is Leland just kinda poking the bear. Which is pure Leland.

Well Andy is back but it looks like he can see demons now. I am glad the show isn't dragging out the "Andy is dead" storyline. This works for me. He is back but there is something not quite right with him. And this puts him smack in the middle of the big overiding storyline with everyone else instead of being on the fringes of it.

Lynn legit wanting to be a nun might be an interesting storyline for atheist Kristen. How do you support a child's choices when you don't support the child's choices? I thought Lynn's scenes with Sister Andrea where fun with them discussing what it meant to be a nun while Sister Andrea was killing demons.

I really like that show takes the Father Ignatius and Korecki relationship seriously. Everyone was so concerned about Ignatius feelings and treated him like someone he loved died. I honestly wouldn't mind if he was the gang's new go to for the the Catholic Church.

At a certain point
notanaxkiller-107-28791114 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
"God keeps revealing himself...and at a certain point, you have to acknowledge it" This episode was a culmination of several themes that had been building the whole season. Kristen finds out where her egg is. Andy comes home ...changed. Evil stops hiding behind sounds and visions, and becomes apparent to everyone. Sheryl is exposed for the lying treacherous servant of Satan that she is. The blurred lines become clear, and people pick sides. David has Sister Andrea watching after him as he tries to resist lust. Monsignor Matthew Korecki is killed. The children are turning into adults. The stage is set. The players are ready. The war is on. What was that I saw, out of the corner of my eye?

Move it along
minicoop122720 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
It needs more progression. Characters need to actually learn something; grow and adapt. Exactly what Kristen and her family will not do. No communication, no trust, nothing changes between them.

Add in the other characters...they've only changed if they've been turned or seen a demon and it has gotten so tired.

What is real and what is not
lineb-2811930 August 2022
It's a dark and mysterious show with a group of 3 with a priest(David), psychologist(Kristen) and a Scientist(Ben) that looks into mysterious situation where it's hard to tell whether its demonic or have a logic explanation to it. The priest David have hired Kristen and Ben to have a logic view on the situation and they both don't believe in God were David do. It's has a lot of dark moments and put you in a position where you don't know what you would have done. They show a world with weird phenomenons but with real human reaction and at one point a common enemy shows and gives the show a purpose to defeat him.

Decent, but not enough development
moviefan198717 August 2022
Overall I have enjoyed this series. There have been some interesting stories and I like that sometimes you have to decide for yourself what happened. My biggest issue is that we just finished Season 3 and we really haven't developed the story enough, it's just a bit slow for my taste. If we don't get a definitive end to Leland's storyline then I'll probably stop watching.

This show continues to be hit or miss
decarloj14 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
One episode will be really good, and the next a dud. Episode 3.9 was one of the best in the series, only for the season 3 finale to be underwhelming.

I was hoping for Leland and Sheryl to finally suffer some repercussions, but once again they walk away unscathed. Honestly the villains continuously having the upper hand is becoming frustrating and stale.

And the showrunners for whatever reason just don't seem to want to promote Grace Ling to series regular, even though she's one of the best characters.

It's time for the old hag Sheryl to exit stage left!
duckboy-9417116 August 2022
I'm seriously done with this show in the sense that the mom Sheryl has over stayed her welcome on this show and it's time to kill her off. The writer's for god knows what reason is keeping this evil old bag of bones around and if they had any shred of decency they bid her adieu!

Zero answers
noawareness16 August 2022
Question after question after question but zero answers. I really want to love this show but they've been milking the same villains since season one and just as they half answer a single question and begin to wrap up one single storyline, the season ends... But right before it ended, they opened up a new storyline with the husband.

I can't even explain how frustrating this type of TV writing is. It's kind of impressive that they have made such little content stretch over so many episodes.

I've said it before but look at where the show started and where season 3 ended... Nothing has happened.

Solid Finale Predictable Ending
Theedg317 August 2022
Solid although predictable finale that ends leaving you wanting more with the same questions still unanswered. Katja Herbers is the queen of streaming, arguably the best woman on TV right now.

Keep seeing this same complaint about the kids and Im tired of it. The four children on the show all talk at once so they can receive some dialogue. It would take too long for Kristin to talk to each every episode - some of y'all need to get over it! The kids are funny, charming and cute.

Poor end to a decent season
malcolmjohnston11 September 2022
The third season overall has been a good watch following on from the previous two .

My only fault with this last instalment is that it's broken the rule of what I've found so great about Evil The show has in the most part has been subtle on the CGI / Effects and not tried to batter the viewer into submission with monster & demons only using them to punctuate the story at key times.

This is not so in this episode and I hope it isn't a sign of things to come in season 4.

The stories from the Kings have been high on fear & tension with the Actors letting there story arc's follow along with enough space as for the viewer to fill in the gap on there own.

As long as Evil can keep its core cast involved this show has years of being renewed, but it needs to tread carefully on what minor cast members hold storylines.

Good but not great
grlym-4684921 August 2022
So this season was much like the rest. I don't quite know where it's headed...even when it finally arrives. A lot of weird with nothing ever explaining itself. I miss the first season where not everything was mystical nonsense, some cases actually were practical solutions.

I hated seeing the dad come back. He is no more important than the carpet in the house. Zero development. He isn't even a prop for his wife's development.

I mainly watch this because my wife likes it and it half way holds my interest.

My God this show has gone downhill
ryanslucas22 August 2022
Not sure what to say beyond I basically hate watched this entire season. It was god awful. The writers are terrible, the characters are just cognitively dissonant all the time. Motives are all over the place. The story doesn't even make sense anymore. All the silly little racism jabs in every other episode that come out of no where. Tragic, because season 1 and 2 of this show were amazing.

I've had about enough
jeremybrown-1855115 August 2022
I've had about enough of those annoying kids talking over each other! How about teaching them not to be total morons? Kristen is annoying with her crocodile tears too she looks so ugly when she cries. Tbh I'm not sure why I've watched the show this long.
