False promotion

False promotion . They promoted movie as adult comedy , but at end movie was totally a different genre . A thriller movie , which was not even close to adult comedy . Storytelling was handled in non linear way , which made movie bit more engaging to watch . First half was average , completely takes it own time to build the story . Second half interesting to watch , with some decent twist and turns . Comedy worked in few places . Ashok Selvan performance was good . Premgi music was mind blowing . Don't expect so much , it's just ordinary thriller . There was nothing adult comedy in the movie . Overall a watchable movie .

Doesn't live upto the expectations

When the movie released, lots of people in the public review praised this is one of the best adult comedy. So I had a great expectations watching this movie. I missed to watch this theatre so I watched in the streaming service and I do not regret missing it in theatres. This is okayish movie. Climax felt like inspired from Kaithi. An average movie.

Decent thriller..!

A movie shows two timeline of a man and at one point he got into trouble and try to escape from it.. Really i didnt feel boring for one minute even the whole movie taken in just three house... Ashok selvan acted soo well..!

Over the top twists!!

There are some movies where there will be unexpected twists in plotline. However, here the twists look forced and just seems like you went from Earth to Mars in one scene. The split screenplay works for most of the part barring the last act. It rather looked like Ashok Selvan playing 3 characters rather than a transition from boy to man. Nevertheless VP has done a good job in not hashing the same old things.

It was fun and a good entertaining movie over-all. The climax and the comedy sequences are in a typical venkat Prabhu style. The adult comedy will make you laugh crazy. But as Mankatha, Maanaadu, we can't watch this movie more than once. Few deceptives are there ideologically such as blaming the female leads same as other tamil movies.

Good thriller with multiple twists and turns

Although movie was good, it's good that they have not released this in theatres, as number of characters and locations are very limited, so felt like watching a drama!

Content of this movie is only suitable for adults and really liked Ashok Selvan's acting very much, as he has mixed his expressions of humor and action really well and it's a completely different role for him.

Cinematography of the movie was good, as the visuals were looking very rich and it suited the role of hero as designer very well.

Although some of the scenes were easily predictable, still there are good amount of twists and turns, so credit goes to Venkatprabhu for the same.

Overall this was movie was looking like a mixture of Kamal Haasan movies - Manmadha Leelai & Sigappu Rojakkal!

One time watachable

Minus: No big adult content, bit slow screenplay.

Expected more comedy tracks but very less.

Plus: However every twist in the movie are really good and not able to predict easily.

Climax VERA LEVEL twist.

Definitely worth to watch one time, but need to have little patience to wait for the twists.

There is good untold lesson present in the movie.

The worst movie

These kind of movies should not be allowed to be published. Women must not agree to act in these movies. Why allow this message to go forward in this day and age. Women sleeping around deserves to die and be called bitch but the guy who sleeps around without wife knowing is hero with nice bgm..? Directer has bad taste and bad morals, why is this considered entertainment.

30 minutes short story is stretched for 1:45hrs. The stretch is felt in lot of places. The biggest disappointment is that there is no comedy except the ones shown in trailer. The non linear flow is good and managed well without any confusions, but it is not well connected to the Adult genre.

The climax looks so lame and adds more negative to the whole movie flow.

One time watchable.

Few scenes are slow paced, but you can definitely watch a time. Predictable story until climax, showing the vile intentions in a positive light, that could have been changed.

Deceptive & misleading adult movie

Seems the team has copied scenes from various movies (original Manmadha Leelai, Manmadhan, "knock knock", patchaikili muthusaram, etc) and presented a juvvu mitaai (which indeed tastes bitter).

After the end of the movie, I decided NOT to watch any Venkat Prabhu "Quickie" in future for wasting my time and resources... PS1: a Quickie means a short film extended for a full length movie PS2: Don't watch a movie based on trailers and promotions ( sort of a bait in the name of adult comedy) PS3: There are lot of fake and stupid reviews online praising the movie ( about great plots and twists which are infact easily predictable as the scenes were copied ditto from other movies) PS4: climax is utter nonsense.

Loosely inspired from the movie "knock knock"

Bit of "knock knock", bit of "pachaikili muthusaram", you mix it up and get this movie. This was promoted as an adult movie. But it turned out to be a half baked thriller genre.

The movie is good. It takes time ( a bit more though) to hit it's sweet spot.

Don't expect the movie's genre to be adult comedy. The movie is a fine thriller to be honest.

The movie has an excellent Venkat Prabhu touch and twist.

Overall :- The movie is a worth watch.

made for 90s kids

1st half was lit and the climax was totally unexpected, the other rich heroine was too good/glamorous and the other one's twist was a pure surprise. Orkut era is shown neatly with real-life kinda characters and the way screenplay progresses pre & post a decade is something that helps in uplifting the movie to another level.

This is a film loosely based on 90s kids.

There were some lags in the 2nd half, if that would've been avoided, then this film could've been one of the best as well Also, wrt the final twist on the lines of Mankatha, this film feels more like a copy of it and wondering how even after a decade this plot is still working for Venkat Prabhu.
