First review here. Coming straight from watching the episode on Discovery plus. I watched the episode as my interest in understanding the nature of our reality kept increasing.
I will be discussing the fine details of the episode as I cant give justice without it.
The episode discusses the various scientific breakthrough theories that explain the reality around us, starting from the lowest elementary level of matter, below atoms being discovered using very big particle accelerators.
Then a scientist who is sending a single proton through 2 slits, realise that when he puts up detectors the wave nature of proton is not visible and they fire in a straight line, and if there are no detectors, protons passes through slits and form a wave. Crazy.
Then a crazy epiphany comes to a scientist whether as we see holograms, does the image and background changes as we see it from different angles. And then how information which passes through blackholes, does it really disappear or was it just that it looks like it disappears to us from our eyes, but its just an image or a holograms.
And the final question being, are we also holograms or images, being projected from a very far away place.
And is everything around us, sort of defined by a mathematical equation, like how an architect has defined nature in form of maths, as maths seems to explain gravity, atoms, etc. It really bends your mind and blows it away, I read physics last in high school.
