Cattle mutilation
BandSAboutMovies15 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Night Visitors is the follow-up to On the Trail of UFOs and On the Trail of UFOs: Dark Sky. Directed by Seth Breedlove, this installment follows investigator and Into the Fray podcast host Shannon LeGro as she heads out of Denver and into the countryside of Colorado, looking into human abductions and cattle mutilations.

Ah, cattle mutilations! Back in the 60s and 70s, cattle were getting killed left and right, skinned, deboned, pituitary glands were taken. No one knew why, yet according to this film, cattle mutilations are thought to be tied into UAP/UFO events, which LeGro and company got to see first-hand as they film at one ranch, getting to see lights on the ground and in the air, as well as odd sounds, black helicopters and, yes, animals being mutilated, including a horse in the past that showed up with just a skeleton left behind. According to Tom Miller, the property owner and a lifelong rancher, he's lost at least 16 cattle who have lost their organs, exhibit precise laser-like cuts and have suffered horrendous wounds.

I really enjoyed this film, as it presented another side to the UAP/UFO phenomena in an area of the country that hasn't been explored as much as Roswell. The Small Town Monsters series are amongst the best made of any paranormal, alien and cryptozoological media I've ever watched. In fact, I look forward to seeing each new installment. You can check out their past movies like On the Trail of UFOs: Dark Sky, On the Trail of Bigfoot: The Journey, MOMO: The Missouri Monster, Terror in the Skies, On the Trail of Bigfoot and Skinwalker: The Howl of the Rougarou.

Disappointing

The problem with this genre of documentaries is the reliance on visual effects to make this even remotely interesting, without the flicker vids of simulated UFO's this would just be people talking to other people about experiences they have had or heard of. You never walk away with something answered, you only leave with more questions and additional frustration.

I would rather not have had the visuals so at least it was based on reality and not on flights of fantasy. If you are going to use visuals use real ones.

If this subject interests you i.e UFO's and some of their alleged crimes, then you will know there is no solid verifiable evidence to substantiate these cattle were mutilated by anything off worldly, certainly not in this video. I found it boring and the visuals misleading and suggestive.

The truth is out there but it's buried beneath a mountain of lies.

Good documentary but horrible flashing light special effects, which spoilt it somewhat

Warning: Spoilers
I decided to watch this, as I've seen all the other Small Town Monster productions, and they ARE very different from the normal UFO programs. As the presenter always says, she "collects stories". She interviews people, and let's them tell their story. This particular documentary mainly features the cattle mutilation phenomenon however, there are are other sightings such as lights in the sky, UFOs, orbs and even flying box-shaped orbs. All very interesting. Of course, there were no conclusions made, other than the link between sites of "high strangeness" seemingly always being situated between 37°N and 40°N. Also that these types of areas very often omit high levels of electro magnetic radiation.

As these interviews are not done in the usual sensational way, sometimes it can be a little frustrating, as they can skip over pretty quickly, some details that I woul have thought would have warranted further investigation eg.. I "think" one of the interviewees said that they were waiting on a vet to arrive, to examine another mutilated cattle. He rang them and said he was 10 minutes away, but just as he crossed a river, bright lights appeared, and he found himself 260 miles away!!! It then took him 1½ to drive to their house!! I had to rewind, and listen to this bit again, to make sure I had heard it correctly! If I DID hear this correctly, that is staggeringly, yet it was just said as a matter of fact, and wasn't questioned! Another frustrating thing that I think they should have looked into more, was that they had found high levels of EMR on the couple's ranch, and yet absolutely none at their house. This doesn't make sense, if the couple owned normal tech devices, such as WiFi, smartphones, DECT cordless phones, tablets etc. I think they should have questioned that.

Cons: Don't watch this if you are sensitive to flashing lights and the really annoying flashing images that tend to dominate these UFO documentaries. I was very disappointed to see that the STM production team feel it necessary to add all this unnecessary special effects to their documentary. I nearly turned it off after the first 15 minutes of this stuff! I have severe M. E. and find it exhausting, and horrible to watch.
