Closure at last!

Honestly I liked the first one better but ending was such a cliffhanger ffs. Hence I'm glad they didn't f up with the same ending. They are soo cute together and hello Ikuta Toma can just play any types of roles and kills it! Worth watching just expect some agony and pain all throughout.

Ps/ still not sure why he NEEDED to live with yamamoto. So annoying

A great modern day romance

Even though this review is on part one of the film the full story is two parts. Even though it is lengthy; you really have to watch both parts of the film. Part 1 of the film contains the romance first starting in high school. The main couple fights through many key points in the story during the high school session as a couple. In part two of the film it highlights them as individuals. I don't want to give away too much of the story so i'll stick to that. This is a great film and at the top of my list in romance films, this is the best one made in awhile. If you can sit through four hours of film, it is worth it. The main couple act very well together, and none of the scenes seem forced. Some parts to seem a little over emotional. This is however coming from an American, so i don't know how it suits other people.

Lacks intensity

I found it quite boring. There is no real story arc, it just goes on and on without anything really happening except sentimental dialogue. Also, the romance between the two leads has zero intensity and the girl is just kind of plain looking and boring as a character. You don't even really know why the guy likes her. I wasn't feeling the spark at all. It's not that the movie is badly made or the actors are bad, there's just something is missing.
