"I don't know how many more of Ruby's mistakes I can take"

Warning: Spoilers
An awful lot happens in this episode. There are some interesting looks at the different families' attitudes here.Charlie tackles Ruby head on and only succeeds in alienating her and making the situation worse... except oddly her words actually seem to have an effect and leave Ruby feeling she can't fighting another battle.Gina comes down hard on Xavier only to come up against John, who disagrees with her approach to things, although their last scene feels a bit redundant and could have done with some pruning.Brax is oddly strict with Casey in private but clearly cares about his brother and wants what's best for him...which makes his off screen complicity in the "Miles is the enemy" team-up a bit odd.

Elsewhere, Ruby and Casey's relationship continues to feel ridiculously rushed and forced and it's actually a bit of a relief Ruby has the sense to put the breaks on it.Ruby doesn't actually come across too badly here, from her double standards chat with Charlie to a superb scene between her and April as they realise they've got more in common than they thought.Unfortunately, she's probably going to get a bit of hatred for her rather cold treatment of Indigo in order to wreck Romeo's happy life.

In addition to a nice Xavier/Romeo/Indi scene, we have Miles making a very questionable decision in order to continue helping Casey. But letting a guy get away with battering a man over the head with a bottle for no reason is typical Home and Away fare.
