Each episode features a different group of 12 thrill-seeking teen contestants, Attackers, competing against not only the obstacles and the clock, but also the Defenders - an international squad of costumed gladiators who are tasked with protecting the castle from the Attackers, leaving only one to be crowned King or Queen.
