The scenes of violence are far and few but where they occur, there is a moderate to strong depiction of violence, blood, and gore. For example, a man is shot in the head with some spurting of blood shown while decapitations are also seen. In another scene, a scalpel is used to cut across a man's eye. The violence is in similar vein to its Mortal Kombat predecessors where opponents are finished off maliciously with bone jarring consequences.

The film also contains a few utterances of 'f**k' and infrequent use of strong language such as 'motherf**ker'.
