In the Act I Emma entered one airplane (it has yellow and red on fin) in Chicago, but on landing in St John, Alaska, it was totally different airplane (blue fin). And in the St John airport, she showed her ticket, it was a direct flight, and even droll ticket agent confirmed it.
In the Act I it was shown aircraft landing for the 4 sec at St John Regional Airport. Emma arrived in it. However, the aircraft shown is Aeroflot Airbus A320. You can easily recognize it as every Aeroflot aircraft has a blue painted fin with a Russian flag. International airlines don't fly on regional flights, and Aeroflot had flights between Moscow and NYC/LA/DC/Miami only.
The movie takes place just before Christmas, and it was shot in the winter. However, there is a small difference between mid December and late February / early March - you can hear loud singing by singing birds in the few outdoor scenes, and they don't sing between early autumn and late February / early March.
