The real Succession story
thejdrage9 December 2022
I just binged Succession - which I do NOT recommend doing. I was overdosed on white privileged and entitled children when I happened upon The Murdochs. Son of a gun, it's the identical story, just with less glamorous clothes and fewer named jets, Mercedes and helicopters.

This is, if nothing else, the story of a man who knew what he wanted and went for it - not matter what it cost other people in their dignity and rights. (Same with Succession.) He backed up whomever could make him the most money and you could take that to the bank.

He also sets up battles between some of his children - and that fluctuates. To me, after being educated by Succession, I see it as a cruel game played by a man who loves money and power more than his own flesh and blood.

I gave this a 7 because I thought it was a bit too long and was redundant on the family infighting. Also, it wasn't really complete. There's a cliff hanger - so now we have to wait for Succession season 4. OOPS! I mean The Murdochs, Season 2.

As with Succession, I think I have had my fill.

The boy from Australia makes good
metfinancial21 April 2023
Rupert's foray into television started in earnest when he bought a bankrupt station near Sydney, raced off to USA and bought the best of the new season shows, returning to tell the network moguls 'it's payback time. If you want any new season shows i have the. I'll sell them to you in return for some of your local shows I want. News, football, tonight shoes, quiz shows, Australian dramas. He wooed Thatcher to help him break unions. He wooed Bush to make him a US citizen so he could start buying TV stations. Yes, he breaks promises buy which media magnate doesn't? His loyalty to Trump just cost him $1B+, with more to come. He's admired by many in Australia for what he's built from one newspaper in Adelaide.

If u like lies told by people fired for telling lies, this is for you!

Your typical run of the mill leftest propoganda machine. They mix in a lil bit 10% of truth from some good people that was truly done wrong, using them to set the stage and spew 90% lies from CNN, & MSNBC anchors that were fired for lying and now looking for 1 more payday to bash patriots and Trump.

Well i tried to end my review there but it says i have to type 214 more letters now. Its sad where our country is today. We are so much better than this. We have allowed the worst of us to speak for the rest of us. We need prayer now as much or more than ever. We need that far more than another Doc like this.

God Help Us.

Hatchet job
cjtriv14 December 2022
This was clearly made by CNN, the company against FOX. The entire piece is to make the family look bad to try and persuade voters to vote democrat. Tough to take all of this serious when they use words to make him out to seem like such a villian and make his kids look stupid. If someone can't see that this piece is to turn young voters to the left, then I see that as a problem.

This series is not serious journalism. Hatchet job.

It turned to be a piece made by cnn that was propping up their company and putting down Fox News and the Murdoch family. They're not perfect but it's so one sided.
