Started life as "Strip Club Slaughter", a vulgar humorous slasher film in the spirit of the 80s slasher genre. After pre-production began, the lives of co-producers Adam Ahlbrandt and Natalie Jean were so tumultuous that the film took a dark tone, which was also contributed to by the exceptionally cold winter the production filmed through. Many of the scenes were shot without heating. There are still several moments left in the film that touch on the original, more silly tone.
Though the look of Anton was inspired by Jean's friends Bam Margera and Chad I. Ginsburg, Ginsburg participated differently by contributing pieces of cKy's album Chapter 1. The role of Bill is played by Jackass and Viva La Bam cinematographer Joe Frantz. Frantz appears in Margera's movie Minghags.
