Animals in slow motion
DLochner18 May 2021
A great German film documentary - actually made for the big screen. It's rare, especially in documentaries. The greatness of the pictures can only be savored thanks to a large screen. Because Serengeti was made for the cinema, it can also allow itself its calm narrative rhythm. The film deals with the life of the animals in the Tanzanian Serengeti National Park. Director Reinhard Radke turns the documentary into a meditative experience with the sometimes great slow-motion shots. Animals in slow motion.

A compilation of unrelated scenes and bad CGI

It is very obvious that this is less of a documentary and more of a mix of drone shots stitched together to tell a story that didn't actually happen. It really takes you out of the experience when there are 100 camera angles on the same "event". They also fake scenarios with bad CGI of animals and other things...

All the CGI ruins it

I'm overall a big fan av nature documentaries, but this is a bit dissapointed.

The data manipulated scenes are over-used, wich ruins my experience watching this. Its like they've photoshopped random animals in a tree/ or elsewhere and its so easy to discover it.

Too bad, I love this kind of documentaries in geneal.
