When the seaside town of Shaw Bay is under threat of a redevelopment, realtor Erin will do anything to save it. Cue the handsome Theo, a royal looking for a new property. The catch is, he's hiding the royal part.

Erin is a realtor who loves her small seaside town of Shaw Bay. Unfortunately, the city is planning to bring in more money by undergoing redevelopment, which would be a major disappointment for her. Around the same time, a mysterious man arrives in town, and he wants Erin to find him a house. He refuses to say much about himself, except that his name is Theo Johnson and that he has a lot of money. Unbeknownst to Erin, Theo is actually a prince who has left his home country of Mavdovia, defying his father's orders to stay and marry a princess. Theo doesn't want an arranged marriage, preferring instead to find true love for himself. Erin desperately wants to find Theo a house in Shaw Bay because if he buys a large property, it would prove that the town doesn't need redevelopment. She shows him Shaw Bay and everything she loves about it. As Erin and Theo spend more time together, they enjoy each other's company and soon fall in love. However, Theo's father insists on getting him back home, and Theo continues to hide his real identity from Erin, which could threaten their chances at romance.—Patrick Lin

Erin loves her hometown of Shaw Bay, where she's lived her entire life. She laments the possibility of it losing its unique charm if town council proceeds with the proposed sale of the marina, as a similar move in a nearby town led to their town being turned into one filled with ubiquitous corporate businesses. She can extol the virtues of the town in her job as a realtor. She has a one hundred percent success rate in finding clients the accommodations they requested. She may have met her match with client Theo Johnson, a snooty British sounding out-of-towner, who makes her life even more difficult in not divulging much about his life that will help her finding exactly what he wants. What he has not told her or anyone else in town is that he is really the Crown Prince Theo of Moldovia, he having escaped from his royal life in wanting to abandon his future, the most egregious in his mind being set-up by his father, King Henry, to enter into an arranged marriage to someone he's never met solely for "business". He chose Shaw Bay in hearing stories from his now deceased mother about her fond memories of her time there. Making hiding his identity more difficult is that his valet, Frank, has tracked him down, a formally dressed man following Theo around not very inconspicuous. Regardless, Frank has vowed to Theo not to divulge to the King where he is. As Erin and Theo spend more time together, they start to fall for each other. What happens between them will be affected by the means Erin eventually learns the fact of who he really is, his relationship with his father and his feelings about his royal duties including the arranged marriage, and the fate of the marina and thus of Shaw Bay.—Huggo
