While we wait for the new trailer for Stranger Things Season 2 to be released today, here's the full soundtrack track list. The names of the songs on the list certainly seem to tease some of the plot points in the upcoming series.
I loved the soundtrack of Season 1 as the songs were fueled with the nostalgic 80s synthesized greatness. The opening theme alone is has become iconic.
Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein returned to compose Season 2 and they will be giving the new season new sounds, while also revisiting old themes. They explain in a statement:
“In Season 2 we’re introducing new styles of composition, while still revisiting old themes when appropriate. We’ve created new elements that are necessary to support the story, but still want to remain true to the sound of Season 1.”
The soundtrack will be rolled out soon on and will be available on digital, CD,...

Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein announced that the soundtrack for the second season of the Netflix show Stranger Things will be available on October 20th.
The two composers – also members of the Austin group Survive – previewed the new 34-track LP with "Walkin' In Hawkins." The track unfolds at a stately pace, as gurgling synthesizer lines and deep jolts of bass gradually accumulate around the primary melodic motif.

Am I grading too easily? Getting ready to recap Night 2 of The Voice’s Season 13 Blind Auditions, I realized that, during Night 1, I had given out a whopping five A-minuses, which seems kinda ridiculous in retrospect. I mean, was Esera Tuaolo, for instance, really that good? Or was there just technically nothing wrong with his performance, so I couldn’t find anything to dock him for? If I don’t immediately want to throw a shoe at a singer — or at least download their cover song — were they truly A-worthy? Though Dave Crosby might disagree, I think I’m going...

Beyonce seems to believe it's okay that her hit, "Formation," used a sample of a dead New Orleans rapper ... because she only used a tiny bit of his voice. Beyonce just filed a response to the lawsuit from the estate of Anthony Barre -- and in the docs, her lawyers say the use of Anthony's voice is "reasonable and justified." You'll recall, Bey's hit track includes Anthony's voice saying "I like that," but his estate...

Gearing up by stripping down! Fergie is giving fans a little taste of her new mystery project on social media, teasing her followers with sexy photos and bizarre clips.
More: Fergie Pairs String Bikini With Playful Pigtails During Hawaii Vacation
Her most recent shots feature the 42-year-old Dutchess entirely nude, wearing only stiletto heels as she shows off her enviable frame while lying down.
This comes after weeks of teasers, including shots of her in a corset and scenes of the singer running from the cops and looking very frightened.
The clips give off strong Beyonce vibes, specifically mirroring images from the “Formation” singer’s songs “Haunted” and “Mine” off her 2013 self-titled visual album.
In May it was confirmed that Fergie had left Interscope Records to form her own label, Dutchess Music.
Fergie has not officially announced plans for new music, though these new teasers imply that something is on the way.

Just for Fun…And then there is…
“Once Upon a Time in Jerusalem”, the spin-off of Spaniards’ David Munoz and Adrian Cardona’s “Fist of Jesus” was presented as a teaser to buyers by Films Boutique in Cannes after it acquired it during its presentation at the Marche’s Fantasia-Frontieres Platform.
Well, it’s not really Christian, nor is it Jewish. Nor could it be called heathen as it tells the story of Jesus accidently causing a Zombie apocalypse after he fails to resurrect Lazarus from the dead which then forces Jesus and Judas to battle the undead with the help of 11 mercenaries…or perhaps his apostles or posse? Produced by Spain’s Ek Degol, Corte y Confeccion, France’s To Be Continued and Netherlands’ House of Nether Horror, this has got to be “one of the craziest and funniest projects we ever read,” says Films Boutique CEO Jean-Christophe Simon.

2017-06-06T05:49:26-07:00Controversial Contestant Stirs Trouble on 'The Bachelorette'
Monday night brought out the worst in more than one contestant on The Bachelorette.
After stumbling upon a heated conversation with two of his housemates, Eric Bigger and Iggy Rodriguez, contestant Lee Garrett warned Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay about Bigger.
The episode ended on a "To be continued" note and scenes for next week show escalating tension when one of the black contestants, Will Gaskins, is seen explaining to Garrett, who is white, why it's offensive to call a black man "aggressive."
The racially charged episode comes on the heels of recent revelations about Garrett, a self-described country boy from Nashville. In posts that have since been deleted from his social media accounts, viewers online uncovered tweets Garrett had allegedly sent in 2015 and 2016 that were racist, sexist and offensive to the Lgbt community.

The drama between Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick raged on during Sunday's Keeping Up With the Kardashians, as their relationship continued to crumble and Kourtney's sisters, Kim and Khloe, found themselves in the middle of the tension.
The episode picked up where last week's ended, with Kim finding a woman in Scott's Dubai hotel bathroom and aggressively throwing her out of the suite. Kim then confronted Scott, and chastised him for making her feel bad for him over Kourtney dating another man.
However, didn't seem to understand the issue with him having some female companionship.
"She's made it clear that we're not together," he said of his ex, who is also the mother of his three children.
"But you made me feel really bad about it," Kim shot back. "Why do you even care what Kourtney does, and why are you getting mad at her, when you're doing the same thing?"

Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian's tumultuous relationship took center stage on Sunday's new Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Despite Scott's best efforts to walk the straight and narrow path of sobriety in his attempt to win back his ex-girlfriend and the mother of his children, things still managed to go south, quickly.
As the episode opened, Scott was sitting down with Kourtney's sisters, Kim Kardashian West and Khloe Kardashian, and the trio talked about what their recent family trip to Aspen, Colorado, meant when it came to Scott's attempts to get back together with Kourtney.
"Kourtney and I have been spending a lot more time together, so I decided to take her and the kids to Aspen, and she agreed to go. So for me that's a big thing," Scott said in a solo interview with the Kuwtk camera.

Sometimes I’m not here to tell you what went wrong with a story. Not what I usually do, but sometimes a story just gets the law right. Doesn’t stop me from writing about it. I can have as much fun explaining why the law works the way it was portrayed in a story as I can explaining why the law doesn’t work the way it was portrayed in a story. In fact, I can have more fun. When I write about why a story is right, no one gets mad at me.
Champions v2 #7 is one of those stories that got it right. For those who haven’t read it, the new Champions comic tells the adventures of some teenaged Marvel super heroes who teamed up after they became disillusioned with the behavior of the adult Marvel super heroes. Particularly their behavior in Civil War II.

The plain English version.
If you have frequented the film and television minded corners of the Interwebs in the past month or so, you might have heard about a potential Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike looming on the horizon. However, you might not have clicked on those headlines because they are incredibly dull, or quickly closed the tab after wading through a few lines of industry jargon-ese. I certainly did until I was preparing to write this article, because I am a millennial, and therefore have the attention span of a goldfish and the constitution of a snowflake.
Anyway, here’s a very basic breakdown of the current situation:

Welcome to another installment of Movies to Show My Son. This is the blog series were I discuss movies I can’t way to show my son in the future. I’ll be covering my own personal experience with the movie, movie lessons and life lessons I hope he will learn, and lastly my concerns about showing said film. This week’s film is Back to the Future.
Personal Memories:
I feel like Back to the Future is one of those movies I watched before I was even born—as if the government used microwave rays to send it directly into the womb in some sort of insane Regan era scheme. The thought being they could use time traveling babies to fight Russia’s monkey robots. Even if that was true it would only be half as crazy as today’s political climate.
As a kid I remember enjoying the third installment the most.

Kim Kardashian was still struggling with anxiety in public places following her traumatic robbery in Paris on Sunday's new Keeping Up With the Kardashians, while hints toward husband Kanye West's looming breakdown and hospitalization only added to her stress.
It's clear from the first moments of the episode that the 36-year-old reality star was still emotionally and psychologically healing weeks after she was held at gunpoint in her hotel room. Kim and her family turned out to Kanye's Saint Pablo concert at The Forum in Los Angeles, but it's clear that she wasn't exactly enjoying the atmosphere.
"I can feel the energy of people pulling out their camera phones and just a lot of people are so, like, curious to see, 'What is she doing? God forbid she's smiling.' Or, if I'm not smiling, it's like, 'Oh, she's so depressed,'" Kim explained. "I don't want that kind of pressure right now."

How do you make The Good Fight's least likable character better? Introduce his mother. Now that may sound like an odd way to go about it, but when you cast Andrea Martin as Francesca Lovatelli, the mother to Justin Bartha's Colin Morello, you're doing just that. In "Reddick vs. Boseman" viewers were treated to a new side of Colin when he and Lucca (Cush Jumbo) ran into his mother at an art gallery. Seems Colin hasn't been too forthcoming with his family about Lucca, but once they meet, Colin's family is all in…because they want him to use Lucca as prop to run for office. Does he want to do that? He said no, Lucca cried. To be continued, obviously. There are two more episodes left this...

Warning: Spoiler alert! Do not proceed if you haven’t watched Tuesday’s Bones.
Bones set the stage for its series finale on Tuesday’s explosive penultimate episode, which, true to form for the long-running Fox procedural, combined the joy of a wedding with the terror of a killer on the loose. And everything ended with a bang.
The episode, titled “The Day in the Life,” flashed back and forward around the events of Cam (Tamara Taylor) and Arastoo’s (Pej Vahdat) reception, giving fans a chance to see the happy couple and all their friends and relatives -- Michelle! Felicia! Most of the old “squinterns!” -- celebrating their much-deserved bliss.
However, the honeymoon doesn’t last long, as the next morning Cam and Arastoo are summoned back to the Jeffersonian Institute’s Medico-Legal Lab, where, as Brennan (Emily Deschanel) puts it, “everything” has gone wrong.

Ever get that feeling you're running in place? That you've ended up back where you began? Turns out that Grimm Season 6 Episode 11 has an odd case of this.
For all those Grimmsters who have been longing for an episode devoted exclusively to the big arc with the Magic Stick and the weird symbols and everything, they certainly got... something.
Who in the world is making these prophesies, I have to ask?
Much of this episode's action depended on Eve's ludicrously unwise choice to just pop through the mirror-portal on her own in the previous episode.
Obviously, it never occurred to her (nor anyone else, seemingly) that this might simply give old Skullface (er, Zerstörer) what he wants. Playing into his hand, as it were.
Anyway, when Nick traipsed through the mirror after her, it devolved into an unintentional comedy of errors, with both of them running off randomly from the...

Exclusive: First image released of Rampling in tale of identity loss and contemporary alienation.
TF1 Studio will launch sales on Italian director Andrea Pallaoro’s drama The Whale, starring Charlotte Rampling as a woman undergoing an identity crisis, at the upcoming Efm.
It is the second feature from La-based Pallaoro after his portrait of family disintegration Medeas, which premiered in Venice’s Horizons section in 2013 and went on to clinch multiple awards.
Revisiting themes explored in that film, The Whale is an intimate portrait of a woman’s progressive loss of identity as she struggles to come to terms with her past and her own sense of reality, exploring contemporary alienation and the human struggle to connect.
Pallaoro co-wrote the screenplay with long-time collaborator Orlando Tirado.

Lil Wayne can breathe a little easier now that his camp's been assured there won't be anymore 'Carter V' leaks ... at least not from Martin Shkreli. We're told Weezy's camp hunted down Shkreli on Thursday after Shkreli released a sampling of the forever-under-wraps album ... just 2 days before Xmas. You'll recall Wayne was outraged over the leak ... so his camp wanted assurance from Shkreli there weren't other samples floating around. Our Shkreli sources say Martin told...

Well, that was anticlimactic.
After months of buildup of the Chin-Sarah storyline, it all ended way too quickly on Hawaii Five-0 Season 7 Episode 12.
I mean, before the opening credits? Really?
On Hawaii Five-0 Season 7 Episode 11, we heard all about this impregnable compound patrolled by hundreds of cartel thugs.
Great action potential for a full-frontal assault with Five-0 and a select band of faceless soldier-types, led by McGarrett. A stealthy approach through the jungle, then lots of gunfire.
Instead we got Five-0, joined by Adam, spraying a few shots from the shadows to take out a half-dozen thugs and rescue Chin. Hell, the dogs in the pit looked more ferocious than the cartel.
I guess the producers had to save some ammo for later takedown scenes.
So, one episode after Chin decided that his career choice had put Sarah in jeopardy, he regained guardianship of her.

Dorit Kemsley hasn’t been doing the best job at making friends on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
The newest Housewife in the franchise, Kemsley has already found herself on the other side of some very pointed words from Erika Girardi, after #pantygate. And now it seems that the 40-year-old swimwear designer’s relationship with Days of Our Lives star Eileen Davidson isn’t going as well either.

So this is interesting ... JLo changed her mind about the whole "stay at home for the holidays" thing and headed off to Vegas to watch Drake perform. JLo's sources told us a few weeks ago she was cancelling her lucrative appearance in Miami for Nye because she got a new home last year, and was working so much she had no time to enjoy it. What better time, she said, than the holidays where she could relax with family.

At this point, it’s a given that the stories being told on television have begun to equal or surpass the choices one can get at the movie theater, and this weekend, the Epix Network are finally getting into the game with their first two Epix Original Series, including Berlin Station, an espionage thriller with an all-star cast.
It stars Richard Armitage (The Hobbit) as Daniel Miller, a CIA agent called to work undercover out of the Berlin office, tasked to find a leak from a whistleblower known as “Thomas Shaw” along with his long-time friend and colleague, Hector DeJean (Rhys Ifans). They work under the CIA’s Berlin Chief of Station Steven Frost (Richard Jenkins) and his administrator Valerie Edwards, played by Michelle Forbes (The Killing, True Blood).
Lrm sat down with Armitage and Forbes while they were in New York City promoting the show.

Here it is folks, the final day of Star Trek Week!
Star Trek: Enterprise (Ent), or simply Enterprise as it was known for the first two years, was the series that many fans blame for killing Star Trek. It premiered the same year Voyager ended and by that point it was felt that Star Trek in general needed a break. Waiting a few years to make people hungry for Star Trek again would not have been a bad thing in my opinion. That said, I always enjoyed Ent and was disappointed that it wasn’t given seven seasons like its brethren. That’s right, Enterprise was the first series since the original that did not last seven seasons.
The premiere episode, Broken Bow, debuted on September 26, 2001 to big ratings but for the next four years those ratings would slide down and never recover. In fact, during the later part of season three,...

The final moments of The Real Housewives of New York City season eight's penultimate episode were as nail-bitingly tense as any we've ever seen (and the season finale looks like it'll pick up with much of the same intensity), with Bethenny Frankel attempting to divulge her damning information about Luann de Lesseps' fiance Tom D'Agostino's illicit Regency Hotel rendezvous to the Countess herself—and the Countess so horrified about the truth bomb about to drop in her lap that she bolted out of B's hotel room. Viewers were left with a frustrating "To be continued" taunt, while Bethenny was left with her face in her hands. But was she taken aback by Luann's unwillingness (at...

The Walking Dead take note: The Real Housewives of New York City knows how to do a cliffhanger. Is that a sentence you ever thought you'd read? Yes, Bethenny Frankel's big revelation of photos of Tom with another woman to Luann de Lesseps happened at the very end of the episode and we were left with a "To Be Continued…," but it was damn good TV with enough info and action and just the right amount of tease. Throughout the whole episode Bethenny avoided Luann, but certainly didn't avoid talking about the pictures she said she had of Luann's fiancé Tom making out with another woman that last Wednesday. She told Ramona Singer and Carole Radzwill about the situation at hand, but refused to show...

But then, the show of support for Milestone was overwhelming!
I could hardly contain my tears of joy so much was the love I felt from the thousands of fans who stood by us. So with all the love shown us why was this the beginning of the end for me?
Because there was no love, the above paragraph was an invention just like the rumor.

A review of tonight's Game of Thrones coming up just as soon as anyone not drinking is disrespecting our queen... "I choose violence." -Cersei The last couple of episodes prior to "No One" had the air of "To Be Continued" wafting throughout, in a way that Game of Thrones installments tend to have more of in the earlier parts of seasons. But I went with them because they had nice individual moments, and because I understand that not every episode can feature Dany literally burning down the Dothraki patriarchy or Hodor's tragic origin/death. "No One," though, suggested that a lot of what's happened lately hasn't so much been set-up for the next big moment, but a way to kill time until it comes. The title refers to Arya rejecting her role in the Faceless Men — after first offering the Many-Faced God a sacrifice in the Waif — to resume her identity and prepare to return to Westeros. Despite some nifty parkour action in the streets of Braavos, and a decent payoff to Arya's time learning how to fight blind, the end result of it all brought us right back where we started from: Arya, having apprenticed under another badass, ready to return to her list. Maybe she's a better fighter than she was when she was apprenticing under Syrio and the Hound, but it feels like the series needed to park Arya in an out-of-the-way place for a couple of seasons so she'd be available and relatively undamaged until the endgame. The show never convincingly sold us on the idea that she might really abandon her true identity to be No One, and so we got some nice action beats and amusing Jaqen doublespeak, but otherwise could have kept her off-camera for as long as the Hound was absent. Arya actually rejects two paths in this episode, as she also declines the invitation of Lady Crane (Rip) to join the acting troupe and go to Pentos. And "No One" spends a lot of time on people refusing offers to unite, particularly in ways that might advance the overall story. Edmure and the Blackfish have appeared so briefly and infrequently that they only vaguely qualify as characters at all — Hot Pie has a more clearly-delineated personality than Edmure — so if the point of coming back to Riverrun to deal with them and Walder Frey wasn't to add to Sansa and Jon's army, nor to turn Jaime's loyalties(*), then why were we there at all? At this late stage of the game, the show doesn't have to devote every second of every episode to advancing the major story arcs, but when it isn't, it needs to be giving that time to characters the audience actually has an investment in, and preferably telling us things we didn't already know about them. Even Jaime's confession to Edmure that he only cares about getting back to Cersei, no matter what monstrous things he has to do along the way, isn't particularly revelatory, given all that the siblings have said to each other this season. (*) It remains entirely possible that both of these could happen — Jaime did, after all, let Brienne and Pod leave unharmed — but where we stand right now, it's all much ado about nothing much. The Hound hasn't declined Beric's invitation to join the Brotherhood Without Banners quite yet — and their desire to head North does, at least, feel germane to larger concerns in the way the Riverrun material ultimately didn't — and at least in that storyline, the show is once again toying with our feelings about violence and retribution. One week after Brother Ray made his argument against violence as a disease that solves nothing, the Hound is right back to butchering men with ease, and while we might want to see him get vengeance for his friends, you get the sense Brother Ray very much wouldn't want this from him, any more than Ned would want Arya to have gone down the path she's been on ever since his head left his body. Over in Meereen, the Mother of Dragons, Breaker of Chains, Arriver of Predictability came back in a moment that was as underwhelming as it was telegraphed. Given how dramatically unnecessary Dany's speech to the troops was a couple of weeks ago (that's the monologue she delivers after the Dothraki's support has started to waver, not when they are gladly following her to Meereen), I wonder if the show might have blown its FX budget on a dragon shot it didn't need, which denied us the image of her astride Drogon floating off the pyramid balcony, rather than her just walking through a door at a moment when she obviously was going to, because who else could turn back the Masters' fleet in this particular moment of the story? (Yarra and Theon possibly could, but it makes more narrative sense for them to arrive there after Dany.) Even Cersei's quote about violence, which was the highlight of the pre-season trailers, feels a bit less giddy in context, not only because it's hard at this point to root for either side in her war against the Sparrow — which he has cleverly taken the upper hand in by eliminating the practice of trial by combat — but because recent installments of the show have warned us against reveling too much in murder and dismemberment. Which is an interesting approach to take for a show that features so much of it, but a refreshingly honest and reflective one. Still, I've had enough cooling of my heels here, and am eager for the stories to start having real forward momentum again. This was among the more forgettable episodes the show's done so far, which you would hope wouldn't happen this late in either a season or the overall run. Some other thoughts: * We unfortunately didn't get the extended Brienne/Bronn scene I've been hoping for, but Brienne's reunion with Jaime hit some strong emotional notes — particularly when he told her to keep the Valyrian steel sword — and Bronn's own reunion with Pod was pretty delightful in its own right. Another reason to hope for Jaime to switch sides: it would give Bronn opportunity to continue teaching Pod how to fight dirty. * As someone who obsesses a lot about the map, and about the parts of the show's world that we've never seen but had occasional hints of, Arya's suggestion that she might try to find out what's west of Westeros had me very intrigued. But, of course, she'll be too busy settling old scores to play Columbus. * Varys heads back to Westeros to sow seeds for Dany's arrival, which not only breaks up the delightful Dinklage/Hill comedy team, but makes it exceedingly unlikely that we'll ever get Varys, Theon, and Grey Worm in the same room at the same time for a eunuch support group. Oh, well. * I had forgotten how amusing the Hound's dry contempt for his opponents can be, as we saw when he offered one of the rogue Brothers a chance to change his final words from "Fuck you!" to "cunt." * Lady Crane took Arya's notes about her performance, and the audience was even more moved by it. Captain America: Civil War Directors Reveal Why They’re Shooting Avengers: Infinity War Back To Back
Avengers: Infinity War is set to be the culmination of the story which began when Nick Fury first recruited Iron Man at the end of his first movie in 2008 and Thanos made his presence felt in the after-credits scene of The Avengers four years later. In fact, the film will be so big that Marvel has split it into two, and according to director Joe Russo, the scripts for the massive two parter aren’t even in yet.
Asked in the video above how work is coming along on Avengers: Infinity War, the filmmaker revealed:
“We start shooting in November, so we’re literally getting the scripts from the writers in the next two weeks.”
When Anthony Russo was asked about the reasoning behind shooting both parts back to back, he explained that Avengers: Infinity War may not actually be as connected as we initially thought:
“They’re both very different movies.

The Extra-large Air Vent:
If the hero is locked in a room by the bad guys, there is a usually a huge air vent in the wall, big enough to crawl through. And better still, the front grill is not screwed into the wall. It can easily be removed with no tools.
Binoculars Views:
When we see point-of-view shot through binoculars in films, we will invariably see that double-o shape, although if you’ve ever looked through real binoculars, you won’t see that.
The Lethal Cough:
Coughing in a film indicates a terminal disease.

When movie cliffhangers are pulled off correctly they can have a massive impact, which is evidenced by the likes of The Dark Knight or The Empire Strikes Back (and maybe even The Force Awakens). A good cliffhanger is designed to break the story at an organic moment of high drama, and leave the audience wanting to come back for more.
So there’s nothing worse than a movie that ends on a cliffhanger note and sets up a future conflict, only for the sequel to completely ignore it. This has happened in a lot of big franchises, where fans have invested in the story and characters, only for the rug to be pulled out from under them when the next instalment arrives.
There are plenty of reasons this can happen; the movie might have underperformed, a key actor might have left the series or – in some cases – the cliffhangers...
