This documentary is a hidden gem. The story behind the man, who with others promoted diversity even before diversity was a mission. He opened up a world for others, just because it was the right thing to do. The crew who took the time and effort to produce this film should be given medals. What a wonderful tribute in troubled times. My personal thanks to you. The film showed humor as well as strength in leadership. It bonded Duke University and North Carolina Central University through athletics. The film shows how difficult it was in the 1960's to have what was then "separate, but equal" opportunities. The film is shot with rough edges only magnifying the times.
