- A girl has a flashback (while on drugs) to The British murdering the Native Americans on the land. Nothing too graphic.
- A man is shot in the chest. Another man attacks the shooter. They fight and the shooter is killed.

- At a party, a lot of people drink for the purpose of getting wasted. A lot of people are shown drunk, some people are so drunk that they throw up.
- A couple of people smoke marijuana.
- One of the main plots is about an ancient Native American ritual involving hallucinogenic tea. Quite a few people have severe hallucinations.
- The main antagonist is a meth addict. He is shown smoking several times and imagines himself talking to a plush monkey doll.

- A girl fall through some windows. Lots of blood. She dies from blood loss.
- A man chases a girl around a house. She hits runs into a sliding glass door and knocks herself out. When she wakes up, the man suffocates her with a pillow.
- A girl threatens to shoot herself in the head with a shotgun.
