Even though One Friday Night only runs for 90 minutes, it leaves you wanting more. This movie needs redeeming qualities and an uninteresting narrative. This movie has potential, as evidenced by its intriguing idea, but sadly, it is poorly executed, leaving the viewer disconnected from the action. It fails to maintain a compelling story or create any meaningful dramatic moments despite its best efforts.
The movie has all the elements needed to be dramatic, but it never really is. One also questions why the movie didn't use Raveena Tandon's voice. The accident scenario involving Milind Soman's character wastes a lot of screen time with Nirosha circling back and forth between the accident scene and the interior of the home without having any real effect. The remote villa and the rainy night had the potential to be significant characters in the story, but instead they are kept apart from it and do not interact with the key plot points.
At last, If you've seen similar movies before, you can guess the twist and plot with ease.
