Strangely fascinating if not always for the right reasons

This is a micro budget British horror. The DVD cover says it's the UK answer to the Blair Witch Project. They are both low budget and set in the woods but unfortunately that is where the similarity ends.

The first half of the film is taken up mostly with pretty inane dialogue but this does at least let you know the characters. They are a pretty unappealing bunch of people and you do begin to pray for the slaughter to begin.

The acting is as you would expect pretty woeful apart from Albey Brookes as Ed who is quite charismatic and by far the best actor in this.

For all it's flaws however, it did have a strange charm about it. There was enough about it to keep me watching and it did at times have a modicum of suspense. The ending however felt rushed and a bit more thought and effort to the this point would have made for a better film.

This is no Blair Witch Project and to enjoy it you really will have to have zero expectations. This may have been the smallest budgeted film i've ever seen but it's by no means the worst.
