After Tesla triggers an EMP that blacks out the Sanctuary, Helen mentions 'an old vacuum tube generator'. In the fantasy prone world of free energy and perpetual motion it is believed you can manipulate what is not in a vacuum in a way that creates energy from nothing.
At one point, in reference to Oldham, Henry says " in a town that small". In fact, Oldham has a population of over 100,000, making it comfortably one of the larger towns in England, somewhere in the top 50-60. In practice it's been subsumed completely by the city of Manchester, and as part of Greater Manchester - which has a population of over 2.5 million - it isn't really a small town so much as a suburb of the second largest city in England, after London.
