Easily converts rage issues into laughs
Mr-Fusion15 September 2017
Burr seems to be on a social Darwinist kick with this special, laying into the freakish and weaker elements of society. And it totally works for him; he's one of those comics that can make the annoying everyday funny. It's easy to scream about something, but to make it a funny voice? He's got it down.

Everyone from fat people to Oprah (and mothers) get ripped a new one. I've seen this special more times than I can count, but the way he's able to take caustic and make it funny is a true gift.

Never gets old.

Charming misanthropy and paranoia

Warning: Spoilers
I've been listening to Bill Burr for the last 3 weeks or so.

This special mostly has some great misanthropic comedy about some of the terrible people Bill meets during his time on the road.

He wishes a plague/swine flu upon the whole human race.

Then there is all his paranoia and irritation with chain stores and how they take too much information from you.

Then there is some hilarious but scary bits about old age.

Bill Burr is not a grouch like George Carlin. He is a really charming and pleasant guy.

His comedy cheers you up. It is great. He is like that best friend whom you hardly meet anymore. Listening to Bill is like meeting that best friend.

Blame Burr for the Pandemic

Bill Burr visits San Francisco for this 2010 special. He was his typical misanthropic self. He had hilarious venom for people at airports, Oprah, and his girlfriend. In fact, maybe he's to blame for COVID-19. He openly supplicated for a "plague" as nature's wildfire for humans.

His best jokes were about automated check-outs, men not being able to cry, his rescue dog pitbull, and how Black people can get away with racially charged speech. Overall the special was mostly introspective as Bill Burr eclipsed the age of 40.

Bill Burr is truly one of a king.

The funniest man in comedy is at it again in this hilarious stand-up special where he discusses topics ranging from the elderly to rescuing dogs to racial differences in his famed maniacal manner. Now not everyone will love his style and I imagine quite a few people will hate it. He is very "rough around the edges" in a sense, uses profanity in abundance, and is not afraid to be controversial. However, if you're not offended during the one-hour special, it's likely because you're laughing your face off and enjoying every crazed joke and deranged thought. Bill Burr is definitely one of a kind and has a delivery unlike any other comedian.

Bill Burr is the BEST comedian - he'll have you in stitches!

I have watched this video over and over and over again, as well as my husband. And it never gets old. I'm DYING for his latest stand-up to be out for sale. (Update - just saw "You People Are All the Same" - even FUNNIER!!)

I've never laughed so hard, and I'm picky when it comes to comedy routines. Bill Burr has his unique style, and his comedy isn't vulgar (well, maybe a couple swear words here and there). I'd never heard of him but was searching for good stand-up, and am so glad I tried his videos out. Bill Burr is the BEST!

My husband is just as fanatic a fan of Bill Burr as I am, and all we need to do to change a bad day is flip on one of his stand-ups, and the day is saved!

Best Comedian Since Carlin.

I kid you not, this guy has been one of the most refreshing comedians in so so so SO flippin' long...

This special sent me to the bathroom twice, I literally was wetting my pants. You have to be a certain age to appreciate his humor (hey, 'progressives' ... for all your tolerance, how about a little tolerance for people who are old and were taught differently than YOU??) Oh, can't have THAT.

Just the other day I was wigging out on my FB page about how nobody has a sense of humor anymore, everyone is terrified of saying/laughing at ANYTHING...and then I see THIS guy. Thank You Mr. Burr.

Also ck out F is for Family. If you are a child of the 70s, it's right up your alley.

WOW!

This was definitely unexpectedly hilarious, normally don't like male comedians, I've always believed women are naturally funnier than men. But Bill Burr really made me laugh pretty hard with this, definitely watching it again; yes its offensive, but its offensive, done right. It is purely and authentically funny. Oh man and just wait til you get to the part where he talks about sandwiches!! Don't believe me, just give it a watch.

WATCH IT!!!!

BILL IS BY FAR THE BEST & REALIST COMEDIAN TO DATE!
brittmarie2210 January 2019
I've never laughed so hard & so much throughout a stand up comedian's entire show until I discovered Bill Burr. He has an extremely raw & dark comedic way of expressing himself on stage. And, that is by far THE BEST WAY TO PERFORM A (TRULY) HILARIOUS STAND UP COMEDY ACT! If you have never given him a chance... I challenge you to choose any of his top 3 stand ups: 1.) Bill Burr: I'm sorry you feel that way 2.) Bill Burr: Walk your way out 3.) Bill Burr: Let it go And, I guarantee that at least 90% of you will laugh your freaking butt off! He is extremely intelleigent. Therefore, a lot of his jokes are speaking about actually factual things that are going on in the world... He just has a glorious way of making you laugh about the pathetic truth- that so many people are blind to realizing as being true. Please, Check this guy out!!! I am a very particular person with whom I consider to be great at their talent if they are a performer or entertainer. And, Bill is a true comedic genius... & the best thing is- you need to be an intelligent person yourself to follow all of his jokes. I'll sum him up with the following words: "Dark. Raw. Real. Fall on the floor laughing. Sarcastic. Comedic. Genuis."
